Realizing now, after the context of the backstory with Vander, Silco, and Felicia that when Silco asks Powder where her sister is it's not because he intends to kill her. I fully believe he recognized them as Felicia's kids and intended to take care of both of them like he would take care of Powder/Jinx in the show. Just another scene that season 2 completely changes with context. Wonderful.
@jakebill4225 naturally?? they were JUST fighting??? he still had no intention of hurting her. having a weapon ≠ willing to kill a child. especially since he adopts her literally right after lol
@@ZSAnim.3 look at the scene. He is shown holding the knife tightly and when the officer captured vi he said "he'll kill you if he hears you" referring to silicon. Then when jinx/powder hugged him she threw the knife off his hand. Believe what you want but it was very clear what that scene wanted to show Edit: he adopts her because he saw the same anger that he felt when Vander betrayed him
@@jakebill4225 its not like he poised to stab her or anything, he had the knife in his hand, naturally like i explained. he WOULD have a weapon in this scenario. I imagine he even went down there expecting opposition from vander if he wasn't sure he was dead. That doesn't mean he wanted to kill her? And of course Marcus would assume that. That's a very reasonable assumption to make given what he knows about Silco. But he, nor Vi, know the context of his relationship with their mother and why he might have a soft spot for them, who are frankly innocent in this conflict. Hell even Vi thought there was a chance Silco might have killed Powder when she was in prison but chose to believe otherwise to have some hope to cling to and keep going. But we, the viewers, have this nrw context and light from season 2 that honestly changes almost all interactions between Silco and Vander (especially if you factor in Vander believes Silco to have read his letter, and still chose to do all of this) INCLUDING all the scenes with Silco and Felicia's children. He is not heartless, Silco even forgives Vander, and only kills him, not out if grudge, but because he sees it necessary for the underground. It is absolutely reasonable to believe he wanted to foster Felicia's kids and bring them up how he DID eventually bring up Jinx in canon. And anyways, at the end of the day it is all left up to interpretation as to Silco's exact motives. YOU assume he wants to kill her, I would like to believe he had always had different plans for both of them. It's not like a writer is going to pop up and explicitly tell us what they intended. Everyone is free to believe or intepret as they wish. I am simply stating what I think may be going on through his head in this scene, and you arguing with me about my OWN personal opinion was dumb and useless.
Arcane is a story of perspective, people doing the wrong things for the right reasons, or the right things for the wrong reasons. Silco really might be my favourite villain of all time.
Alexandre Cabanel's "Fallen Angel" reference is absolutely good shot.
Yeah i noticed this too!! Its so cool how they added that
The tears in eyes mimicking the shimmer 😭😫
Bro I know like slico was basically the villain in s1 but he was actually such a good father towards jinx 😭😭

He ordered Vi to be killed… I don’t know what you’re talking about. On the contrary it makes me so confused that he was willing to hurt the girls
THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD
if this is good, this is the first video you've watched-
@C4S-Awhy u rude? The edit is good
powder looks like falllen angel
Only arcane can make the villain look like a good guy
