People claim this was anti-Iranian. NO, it actually was not, and I am someone who deeply respects both the Jewish and Persian cultures. If you understood the ending, it was indeed very, very shocking, and both people who hate Iran and who love it will not know how to react, and could such a thing really happen in real life, among the Persian Jews? Maybe, maybe not. I wonder how many spies Iran and Israel have in each other's countries. It is such a shame as well, their two peoples were ever meant to be allies and friends, especially against their mutual enemies, not rivals
It wasn't anti Iran in the sense it showed a more human perspective of Iranian people but it still made the city of Tehran seem alot more backward than what is actually is with way too much emphasis on the hejab.

I am commenting here after watching season 1 and my reaction is just wow.. One thing I must credit Israeli film makers is that how real they make that location look on screen. I have seen shows like Fauda, Shtisel, When Heroes Fly they all were so accurate and excellent in terms of filming. How can it be missed by any spy thriller loving audience.
I love Niv Sultan, and can easily see why Milad fell in love with her. I would like to see more flicks like this! I was so pissed when it ended too short. 😎
Hello@@colombiananarchy. They've captured the whole mood and vibe of the city and its people completely wrong. In the 18 years I lived there, and the many times I visited, never have I witnessed a public execution, and don't know anyone who has, while one of the first things the main character notices in Tehran was a public execution. ( That is not to deny it happening, but it's a rarity, and it happens around sunrise, not something you randomly witness while on a taxi ride.) Aside from the hacker boy, all men on the show come off as aggressive and hostile. While we're a passionate bunch, I don't think most of our men are on the verge of shouting at, hitting or assaulting the women. Post revolution Iranians, from any sect or class, care about making a living and the fun they're going to have in their daily lives, they're overall pretty passive, this idea that the city is on a roll for arranging strikes and demonstrations all the time is completely false, and just adds to the imaginary dark vibe and the paranoia that this show wants to portray to the wide world audience. I find it quite sad, because people who have never been there, watch it and believe the well crafted bullshit.
I understand, believe me. I’m from Colombia and because of tv shows people have the impression that Colombia is jut a jungle full of drug dealers. I have a friend who went backpacking to Iran and said Persian people are extremely kind, Iran is on my bucket list for sure!

@@orlelouch6384 That’s a very superficial way of looking at it. What the Zionists are after by investing billions of dollars and making this series available to the world for free is not to show who loses in the fake story of the series. You cannot reject that after watching this movie you hate the Iranian revolutionary guard more than before.
