- Chapter 5 Hypnos Boss Fight, getting it done on the second try.
Team: Samurai, fortuna, God Hand
Emel was the backbone of all 7th dragon games and having played them all I loved this boss fight more so than anything. Its really not that hard once you have equips that prevents confusion and paralysis on all at once.
You'll be ready once you finish up your sidequests and this boss at Chapter 5 shouldn't be too hard, can't say the same when you fight them in end game dungeon tho ~
Also, sorry for not putting stuffs up recently I've been upgrading my equipment and playing mostly Overwatch, and Overwatch isn't something I feel I need to put things up for.
The battle theme btw is 終撃のイグニト feat. riya(eufonius) and I do love this song very much.

The soundtrack in this game is amazing!!!! I'ts far beyond and ahead from others in the genre!!! It sets the mood great!!
Beat this boss on my first try but it’s easily the hardest boss next to the final boss. This is easily my favorite track in the game , I swear it’s so good. 😊

Anyone knew the name of ost when she transforms, the slow version of Hypnos fight theme.
Edit: NVM found it, 終撃のイグニト (code:VFD Ver.) in case someone wants to know.
Honestly, this is the only boss in VFD that as hard as bosses in 2020 and 2020-2 to me.
This boss makes my brain tremble after fighting imsonia, only manage to beat it after 3rd try, they make hypnos theme specifically special knowing we would get trouble with her debuff streak on 1st try

Just Beat them, and after having played 2020 and 2020-2 this fight was hard and not Just for difficulty reasons
I'm going through a tough time against Hypnos, if you still recall the setup please tell me, did u equip any item that negate status or any strategies, your help would be really appreciative since I think you're strategy far exceeds the other Hypnos fight videos. cheers.
Miyu Inverse lol I just hit her with a bunch of lightning attacks to paralyze her
negate instant death effect is all u need

Worst boss I've ever met, made me stop playing the game
I personally enjoy 7th dragon series due to the one shot boss mechanics similar to etrian odyssey, but less forgiving. Didn't expect a new comment so many years in, but thanks for letting me revisit this old video 😄
The music was well worth it for this encounter. I think no other boss in this game comes close to a "Wake-up climax boss" than Hypnos. The only other one that gave me trouble was a particular one in post-game content.
This boss is subjectively the worst thing in this game. Just look at it. F***ing look at it.
