    I'm 10 months loc'd right now too. Looms nice. I think you need to use a thicker oil on your scalp and roots to stop it from getting dry. Moisturiser and oils really help to get rid of dryness especially after a wash. Spritz are great for daily moisturising. Xx

      Yes! I been slacking on my spritzing since Ive been busy & i’ll for sure pick up some castor oil

    Love your locs! I’m just one month behind you so I love you watching your videos :) Don’t know if you’ve tried this yet but when you do your two strand twist have you tried twisting your hair in the opposite direction of your retwist?
    I used to do it the same way you do but I’d notice when I took it down for the twist out look the individual locs weren’t defined anymore at the root and basically would unravel.
    I watched another video of someone doing it and they two strand twisted in the opposite direction of the retwist. I tried it and it came out so much better and lasted longer. Just a tip. They look gorgeous either way ☺️

      I was trying too but kept getting confused 🥴 I fixed some where I realized they had unraveled but otherwise i threw it in a bun 😂

    Did you find you were no longer "wishy washy" when it came to your hair if you were? Cause I can't hold a style to save my life but I also think I'd love locs, just not liking that I can't access my curls and that's the issue 😅😅😅. But then again I can't comb my hair to save my life either 🙃.

    • @KennedyAmmber
      @KennedyAmmber  3 года назад

      Lol kinda! I feel like I accepted it easy though cos I was tired of my curls and wanted change. Sometimes I’ll see straight hair and be like “omg i miss that” but otherwise no

    What type of product do you use after your retwist to keep you from scratching

    • @KennedyAmmber
      @KennedyAmmber  3 года назад

      Nothing really! Oil or rosewater if I need

    • @jasont5009
      @jasont5009 3 года назад

      @@KennedyAmmber ok I usually use Mielle rosemary and mint oil but I just started using biotin hair oil and water I don’t know if that a good idea but I’m willing to try it for a month and see what’s happens instead of a bunch of different oils to achieve thickness and length I’m only a year in

    • @KennedyAmmber

    hey sis! i just recently did my own 2 strand twists style with my locs too! don’t you hate when you spend ya time on a twist & put the rubberband on it, only for it to come down cause you twisted it the wrong way? 🤣🤣 love your hair 💗💗
