Thanks for the review. We have an older model that still works great after many years. I was specifically looking for one with photo effects when taking pictures, and you showed that well.
Great review! What about shutter lag on this one? I read complaints all over the internet (but not sure if that's on this 5 MP version or the previous one), that it will only take the actual picture 2 seconds after pressing the shutter (by then, my daughter would already have ran 2 meters further to get her next shot, after pressing the shutter :P ).
I think the only time I might want a kids camera is for the filters being sometimes it does seems like that the filters would be fun to play around with which I know most professional cameras seems like they don't have that many filters as the kids cameras at times
Hi, great video! Any idea of how can I download the videos without the original cable?? With another cable I can just charge it but not dowloading of anything- Greetings from Germany :D
Thanks for watching! Do you have a memory card for the camera, if so you can use a usb memory card reader to get the photos. If they're on the internal storage then you will need a replacement USB data cable. Something like this should do the trick - geni.us/RlX6h
It’s friends that they went back to using batteries. Because the Vtech camera before this one rechargeable with usb cable. Using batteries is inconvenience and costly. So I would pass on this product
Don’t buy ur kids this camera. Bad photo quality and no video. I recommend getting ur kids a old Nikon COOLPIX. (such as the 3100 or 2100) they don’t cost a lot since they were made in 2002-2003.
I thought the same. But for toddlers its really hard to handle. All buttons are tiny and the same color. No toddler will ever be able to use a coolpix.
Something a bit different from me this time, let me know if you'd like to see most videos like this!
Nice video of what the camera does/doesn't. What camera would you recommend for a 6 year old?
I just bought this for my daughter who is turning 7 next year. She is so excited.

Thanks mate - a good review for my kid's birthday present!

Best review I found and very, very helpful! Thank you!

Thanks, this is so useful!
Thanks for reviewing!!! How responsive is the camera? If you press the shutter, will it have a bout a second before it actually takes the photo?
I can't get the photos off the camera.
When I connect it to a laptop nothing comes up, can you help?

I used this to see the tooth fairy taking my tooth when. I was like 6 😂. The video only lasted 10 minutes long.
🤣 I'm not going to give my kid any ideas with that one!
Ah, so you never saw her take it because the video ran out!

Good idea, but i dont think i feel comfortable handing a 3 year old that.
@@mkchildress8827 bro it is obsolete and next to worthless

@@bastian.michel I’m not sure why toddler even needs a camera, this is targeted at young children age 5.
@@echonomad94 OMG I JUST REALIZED I'M SO SORRY I MEANT TO SAY THAT MY LITTLE SISTER HAD IT AND I USED TO PLAY WITH IT 😭😭😭😭😭
