    I just asked the Lord what true humility is yesterday.. this showed up in my feed today.
    He has been working in my heart and showing me I need to be humble.. John Bevere worded it perfectly; humility "keeps God in the forefront of anything we are and anything we do". Praise God!

    Thanking you all for shinning the light on this topic. Thank you dear Lord for guiding me here! I'm still trying to grasp it and get rid of it (Pride). Of course I'm not perfect, but I want to try my best with my Fathers help!

    Thank you for sharing this. I live in an area filled with prideful Christians and churches. The gospel is not preached anymore, nor are sensitive topics like sin - and especially pride and arrogance, some of the most deadly. I have encountered too many Christians who are so full of themselves, they think it's acceptable to mock others, resort to sarcasm, and be rude. I personally had a woman laugh at me when I tried to correct her regarding a scripture. She called me names and denied that she was acting improperly, and she is a preacher's wife. I'm no better than anyone, and I am nothing without Jesus. But I never want to act like that and I pray that I never will in Jesus name. May the Lord convict us of this horrible sin, and give us a spirit of humility.

    2 Corinthians 4:1,2
    Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we received mercy [from God, granting us salvation, opportunities, and blessings], we do not get discouraged nor lose our motivation. 2 But we have renounced the disgraceful things hidden because of shame; not walking in trickery or adulterating the word of God, but by stating the truth [openly and plainly], we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God

    humbling yourself is simply not getting you way. you don't have to argue with others if they ask you to do something do it , it's a action taken place that does not allow strife or conflicting with others . the next time you feel you have to get the last word just simply don't!

    • @psalm37v4

      Actually, humility is also not seeing yourself as Superior to others, or belittling others. Would Jesus do that?

    1. The servant of the Lord must correct those who are in opposition
    2. With courtesy and gentleness
    3. In the hope that God may grant that they will repent and
    4. Be led to the knowledge of the truth accurately understanding and welcoming it, (See also Acts 18:24-28) and that
    5. They may come to their senses
    6. and escape from the trap of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

    “The language of deception”
    This is nothing new, it’s been around for thousands of years, packaged and repackaged in different Psyop techniques of those who are the highly educated, schooled and trained in the art of deceptive language in ambiguities, Intended to mislead and to deceive.
    1. Ambiguous: Open to two or more Interpretations, or of uncertain nature or significance, or (often) intended to mislead.
    2. False Pretense: of a representation of a fact or circumstances calculated to mislead, carefully planned and deliberately contrived to form schemes to mislead and to deceive of and into deception.
    3. Cryptic: Having hidden meaning, tending to conceal or camouflage.
    4. Vague: Unclear as regards to meaning, scope, or like indefinite, hazy, uncertain.
    5. Equivocal: Capable of being understood in different senses, sub septa bull to double meaning, capable of being described two different motives.
    6. Obscure and Perplexing: In nature, and that certain details were left out.
    7. What have been the answers? What but dark, ambiguous, and with double sense deluding? - Milton

    Doctrine of Touch
    “Don’t touch God’s anointed......”
    Psalms 105:15 and 1 Chronicles 16:22
    1. Have we been taught correctly about the Scriptures?
    2. Have we understood or studied the Scriptures properly using proper exegesis?
    3. What have we been taught about these two passages with the phrase Don’t touch God’s anointed?
    The word touch in these Scriptures is Naga in Hebrew, 5060 in the Strongs concordance which means (a physical hit or hurt).
    “Has nothing to do with talking to pastors, teachers, elders or the leadership in possible error of their teaching of the Scriptures or communicating with them when they could be wrong in doctrine or if leadership sins against the church or if you personally need to talk to a leader who sinned against you.

    “Apollo’s Humility”
    Example of humility by a learned man who was eloquent and mighty in the scriptures and was from one of the greatest cities in the known world 🌎 the city Alexandria.
    “In humility Apollo’s receives correction”
    Apollos, a mighty man in the scriptures, receives correction and in his humility and humbleness of heart ❤️ receives the correction from Aquila and Priscilla who Expounded on to him the way of God more perfectly and clearly. (See Acts 18:24-28)
    Should we the Body of Christ hold Apollos as our example of humility in receiving correction of doctrine, in which someone brings to us?

    Our Inconvenient Truth
    Apostle Pauls warnings and our inconvenient truth that is hard to Fathom, look at and hear👂. We may all want to ask ourselves how and why does this happen???
    0. Galatians 1:6-10;
    0. Acts 20:27-31;
    0. 1 Corinthians 15:34amp
    0. 2 Corinthians 11:3,4;
    0. 2 Corinthians 4:1,2;
    0. 2 Peter 3:16-18
    0. 2 Corinthians 11:12-15
    0. Matthew 7:15-27
    0. 2 Timothy 4:3,4
    0. 2 Timothy 2:24-26
    0. Ezekiel 34:1-10
    0. Jude 1:1-25
    0. 2 Peter 2:1-22
    0. Romans 16:17,18
    0. 3 John 1:9,10
    The Apostle Paul has just shown us;
    That false doctrines that are a twisting of the scriptures, can be taught for hundreds of years and believed as the truth and when the true doctrine is taught it can be rejected.

    ohn Bevere quotes some Greek, The question is, why hasn’t John Bevere as God’s servant properly used Greek to exegete Hebrews 13:17? Good question
    John Bevere does make concession statements for the pastor and the leadership If something goes against the total Word of God,! not to obey it, but
    John Bevere doesn’t bring out nor does he correct the false teachings or understandings of the word Obey, in Hebrews 13:17. John Bevere leaves it in the understanding in the English dictionary or what we understand about the word obey, to do what you’re told to do.
    John Bevere doesn’t bring out nor does he correct the false understanding or the false teachings of the word for rule, in the original Greek language in Hebrews 13:17. John Bevere leaves it to what we understand about the word rule, and also to what we understand it to be in the English dictionary.

    The question is, why hasn’t John Bevere properly used Hebrew to exegete
    Psalms 105:16; 1 Chronicles 16:22
    “Touch not God’s anointed”
    That’s a very good question?
    God says this to teachers of the Word
    Ephesians 4:8-16,25
    Titus 2:7,8
    2 Corinthians 4:1,2
    Acts 20:27-31
    James 3:1
    2 Timothy 2:24-26
    2 Peter 3:16
    Galatians 1:6-10
