Sometimes the frustrating part about being saved is that your spirit can't contain its joy and praise upon hearing words and song that are known, personal triggers, and it comes out in a flood of tears and worship, and it doesn't matter what's going on in your life, what sin you're struggling with, how low you've fallen. The Word says that Christ knows his own from the lost. I'm doing a decent job at running in the opposite direction of God's will for my life, and all it takes is for me to listen to a powerful song like this, and God reminds me that my spirit and soul belong to him, and that he still loves me even though I'm all the way over here, far from where he would like me to be. So, I break down like a crying baby, as my spirit takes over and threatens to put me on the floor. The part that's frustrating is that I can't sing along like I normally would, but fall apart sobbing and my voice breaking. Against such amazing power, I can't resist. I played it twice, thinking it might not be so strong the second time. It was even stronger. I don't dare try a third time, or I'll have snot pouring out my nose.
Jesus I want to come back to you. I am a lost sheep. Please help me come back, and please forgive me. Thank you for being real and alive. I don't know what I was thinking, Lord. Please help me amen
A recent conversation I had with my brother who is a pastor... He told me that God never moves, we do. He draws us nearer to him, but he stays fixed. We move away from him, but he stays there waiting for us to come back. And while we're gone he keeps sending love to us. Even when in eternity with him, we'll still not be able to fully grasp the depths of his love for us. How can such a powerful being love such pathetic, and evil creatures? I dunno.... But he just does.
Do you all know what it means to have the eyes of your heart opened because you want to see the Lord standing in the light of his glory? That is a very beautiful faith filled thing to ask him but it is also frightening if you ask me

Just come back he loves you soo much more than you'll ever know. Romans 10:9 says "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart the God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". Just believe that and live it everyday, pray, read your Bible, attend a church that will preach the FULL gospel of Christ not just certain scriptures they like.
You might know that Jeff Deyo the lead singer left this is several yrs ago and they got a good man to take his place but you might also like the album Mr.Deyo made shortly after i think it's called saturate- kind of bias because we met him in person in Dillon, MT of all places.
