Iam really enjoying tall gearing. If the engine is not vibrating and butter smooth even at 40kmph in second gear that too under eco mode, why I should be irritated. Tho only difference is may be other bikes in this segment may run in 3rd gear at 40kmph in city rides.

  • @angurgurung5339
    @angurgurung5339 2 года назад +9

I like your review on cb350, I think rust issue is a bit of a problem but that could be taken care of by extending the mudguard, The marketing issue is not my problem, the gearing issue I could never understand, why people like to ride in the city with hi gear, that's why there are low gears are for, if you don't want to shift then you should think about choosing something different, like a auto gear scooter, so seemingly issues are not an issue for me, therefore I am going to get one for me, there are so much more to love about this bick, I am the kind of person that like to look at the bright side, I like to look at the glass half full, rather than half empty, by knowing that there are not a single thing in the world that has no falls, if people are looking for a thing with no falls, well than good luck. Well I normally don't write this long, but people might think I could be paid by Honda, but that's not true, only Honda person I know is at the dealership. Sorry for long and pointless writing.

The best part of the CB350 is you will ride the bike from 40 kmph to 80 kmph in 3rd gear without in hassle and in eco model 😀. Also to reduce the speed no need to downshift as well. This is because of the tall gearing.

Hello. I have purchased Honda CB 350 on 18th October 2021 and it's been two weeks completed and 600 kms ridden and due for service next week. Im already facing issues with gearing as I'm getting a lot of false neutral specially in heavy traffic. Shifting from first to second is absolutely hated by this bike. Crawling in traffic is a pain in the wrist. The bike heats too much and I'm getting average of just 26kmpl. The chain makes a lot of noise. I have used a broad front mudflap but since the whole mudguard is slim in the side profile the water gets sprayed from those gaps even more. Will these issues get solved in 1st service.

I purchased this bike immediately after launch last year in nov. 9000 ka completed till now. Bike is awesome. Initial overheating is there due to new engine & other components. After 1st service most of the issues will be resolved. Ride normally till 2000km, don't push it too much. I am still experiencing improvement in smoothness regularly after every 2000-3000 kms.

I am thinking to get a bike, what do you think is it a good decision to spend big bucks and get a premium bike or spend less and get the job done with same level of satisfaction.
I mean get a bike like vstrom 650 or tiger, or get a mid range bike like cb 350. If your answer is mid range, then i am confused between hness 350, interceptor 650, Himalayan and ktm 390 adv. Will use largely for touring..

    • @hemantrawat915
      @hemantrawat915 3 года назад

In city bumper to bumper traffic you will not get good mileage but on open roads and highways you can expect good mileage. You can use the realtime mileage screen to monitor it. For good mileage try to open the throttle by small degree for acceleration and try to keep it constant. You can stay 2nd gear between 20 to 30 3rd gear 30 to 40 and 4th gear 40 to 60

      First of all,reset your Trip.
      Avoid quick throttling
      Avoid unwanted gear shifting
Shift gears on sweet rpm (don't do over throttling)
You will get minimum of 38Kmpl

I really like the looks of Honda CB 200x ... and also Honda CB 350 Highnes...but I am really confused between two bikes.
    1 . CB 200x
    2. CB 350 Highnes
My main objective is comfort City rides and all types of roads
My hight is 5.6 and weight is 65kg
Plz suggest me i have taken test ride on both... and I know both segment are different
And as u said rightly said..
Honda 350 cc always need gear shifts in city

The CB highness after same service is not good in most of the cities. Service centre limitations are a big con.moreover the spares are not available commercially in the market. Forget about getting ur bike serviced at local workshops. That's the game Honda is playing

  • @vikasshelke5544

Non of your issues pointed by you can be taken seriously. This bike is just a product to own by any means . Honda is considered most reliable bike mfg , ASC is not an issue when people buy super and hyper bikes costing 20 lacs onwards with only one AsC in India and problems are more then regular bikes . Rusting is not an issue and can be taken care of.

Does not Tall clearing in addition to balancer shaft ... Enable reduction in vibration ... This is reflecting in comparison to bikes in class ... Then does tall gearing also enable better fuel efficiency ... If yes, where would us as an Engineer take a call on tech design ... In my view, a brilliant gearing with twin attempt as aforesaid ... Rusting, yes ... Must be looked into ... Other than that, it's a well thought of right priced & near well addressed tech release ... Please share views (real considered views) .... 😶

i live in hill station dharamsala.
i get mileage around 28 kmpl. yeah uphill always on 1st and 2nd gear.
    but i don't mind.
sound is bassy and i like it.
silencer gets hot so let it cool before u put on terpauline cover otherwise the plastic will melt on the silencer.
    it happened to me.
suspension is not soft. its stiff. u will feel it on bumps and kaccha roads. but its not too bad.
i only ride short distance so no complaints.
front light is not strong in dark areas. its fine for city ride but u might end up buying fog lights.
wished they sell them at the showroom. and i keep hearing the battery issue ( that TATA ) battery.
looks weird on the bike. looks cheap as well.
bike handling is superb. i made up my mind to buy it after test drive. dil jeet liya.
felt like i know this bike.
so if u want to buy it. go and test drive. in the end its all about that feeling when u drive.
    best wishes to new buyers.
