My third day at worlds, Antwerp. It was spectacularly great again. Simone took it like a grand woman. Rebecca deserved it. Period. It made the competition a saucerful of surprises. Wonderful day again. Bravo and congratulations to all! 😘

I think that Rebeca and Yeo downgrade the difficult vault after Simone falls. Rebeca probably would gonna do Amanar as second vault and Yeo her named skill in the first. This is what I call a intelligent and healthy atlet and team

@@felityf1pelo que sei não é mais penalizado. A Jade Carrey e a Biles acabaram fazendo outros saltos (por erro) em Toquio e não houve penalidade por isso. A Rebeca quando errou no mundial também. A penalidade da Jade Carrey foi que ela fez dois saltos com entradas similares pelo que entendi

Rebecca can upgrade both of these. She can do a Biles I + an Amanar. She's got the height and the block, and she's competed the Amanar before. Even with Simone on her game I think Rebecca would give her a good challenge. And if we're honest, Simone needs someone to push her. Rebecca is just the one to do it.
Even though she can probably do it, it seems extremely unlikely that Rebeca will ever do a Biles I because doing such a difficult vault with a blind forward landing is a significant risk to her knees after three ACL tears. Same reason why she only brings out the Amanar at the Olympics these days even though she has mastered that vault since she was a junior.
Rebecca was fantastic! Simone is clearly best in the world, but mistakes happen and she is human! I love both of their gymnastics! I wouldn't say crushed though, as it was through a mistake she won.... but congrats to Rebecca! Simone! And the amazing from Korea. What a great final 🎉🫶🫶

Simone's fans used to say that the competition between Rebeca and Simone was all in our heads, that Rebeca didn't even come close... Accept that when Rebeca is healthy, she puts pressure on Simone!
And on solo only 0.13 behind. I hope Rebeca can upgrade her skills. For me she is top 1 gymnast on execution and that is a lot of pressure if she upgrade skills.
Well if you are talking about AA, then there is NO competition between Simone and Rebeca. If you are talking about vault then Simone has ALWAYS had competition on it and beam. And even though the floor final was close, Simone STILL does not have competition there either. You people CONVENIENTLY forget that this was Simone's FIRST international meet in TWO YEARS and the first one under the new COP as well. It came also only after five to six months of serious training which was quite evident by how heavy Simone was breathing after doing her floor routines which is not customary for her even after doing more DIFFICULT floor routines. Now, I admit that Rebeca is the closest thing to 'real competition' for Simone but she still is not quite that yet. When Rebeca can do like Simone, CONSISTENTLY post scores of 14+ across ALL APPARATUSES over the WHOLE COMPETITION year in and year out, THEN and ONLY THEN she can be deemed 'competition' for Simone. Others have beaten Simone in a vault final and others have come even CLOSER to her in an AA final than Rebeca did but in the end it remains the same because NO ONE to date has been able to do the most difficult of skills across ALL apparatuses over such a long period of time and do them CONSISTENTLY as well as Simone has. The FACT of the matter is, Rebeca has more COMPETITION from Shilese and Jessica than she poses to Simone.

I'm so happy for Rebeca, who is such a tremendous athlete. And I'm happy for Simone too. If she had to come in second, I'm glad that it was because she's trying to push the boundaries of the sport and not because she made a mistake on something that's relatively easy for her. It's nice to see women rising in this sport and changing what we expect from it. Paris is going to be amazing to watch.

A Simone teve que inovar o salto pois sabia que a Rebeca é otima nesse aparelho e seria um problema. Ate o segundo salto que ela fez teve uma nota maior do que o da Simone, alem disso, a Rebeca nao fez seu salto mais difícil. Eu acredito que nas proximas competições como os jogos olímpicos a Rebeca competirá com series mais difíceis.
Gente não! A Simone faz os saltos da Rebecca perfeitamente. Ela ja está testando o que ela vem fazer na olimpiada. A hora de inovar é agora, na olimpiadas ela n tem como, as séries ja tem que estar perfeitas.
It is not the first time that she has been beaten in vault. She has only been the champion TWICE before so she has ALWAYS had competition on it and also on beam and it will remain so. Now when it comes to AA and floor however, then that is another story.

I have gone to lengths at times trying to show some avid and I dare say RABID fans of Rebeca or some other WAG that FACTS and FIGURES don't lie and when it comes to to Simone it is CLEAR, she has not lost an AA competition EVER and that is because she is really, really consistent across ALL apparatuses. So, until another WAG, be it Rebeca, Jessica, Listunova, Shilese or whoever can post scores of 14+ CONSISTENTLY across all apparatuses over a WHOLE competition and do that for a year or two, THEN and ONLY THEN will I deem that someone a legitimate threat to Simone. It is also clear that if Simone could take TWO YEARS away from competing with five to six months of SERIOUS training and can return as if she never left then hopes of anyone unseating her from her AA throne will be dependent on a TOKYO like meltdown occurring WHILE in the competition or a bad injury. Short of these two scenarios, history says that every other WAG will be competing for silver and bronze.
That is NOT "a dump thing" to say, they are just the facts. She has been the best vaulter from Tokyo and now she beat Simone (and she had her chance to change that today). Whether you like or not, she is the reigning Olympic Champion and now the World Champion in 2023. Please, eat your sour grapes of defeat slowly. XD@@jondavwal13

A specialist event gymnast can beat Simone in an on event but no gymnast has been able to beat Simone in the all around because none are as consistent as her in all events. Simone scored 14+ in every event, even her weakest event, which is bars.

I'm so happy for Rebeca, who is such a tremendous athlete. And I'm happy for Simone too. If she had to come in second, I'm glad that it was because she's trying to push the boundaries of the sport and not because she made a mistake on something that's relatively easy for her. It's nice to see women rising in this sport and changing what we expect from it. Paris is going to be amazing to watch.

Simone é tão gentil com Rebeca isso é muito bacana pq a Biles é uma fonte de inspiração para todas as atletas e Rebeca também mesmo com toda dificuldade por falta de investimento no esporte ela ainda superou 3 lesões ..então posso dizer que elas inspiram!
A Simone teve que inovar o salto pois sabia que a Rebeca é otima nesse aparelho e seria um problema.
Ate o segundo salto que ela fez teve uma nota maior do que o da Simone, alem disso, a Rebeca nao fez seu salto mais difícil. Eu acredito que nas proximas competições como os jogos olímpicos a Rebeca competirá com series mais difíceis.
Verdade, ela tem um outro salto que fez na copa passada.
Em Tokyo ela fechou os dois saltou dela em 15.000 por isso biles teve que arriscar se quisesse ganhar ouro.

It is not the first time that she has been beaten in vault. She has only been the champion TWICE before so she has ALWAYS had competition on it and also on beam and it will remain so. Now when it comes to AA and floor however, then that is another story.
@@aliciamcdonald7105thank you, people make it seem like big news when another gymnast beats her during event finals but none of their faves can beat Simone because she is the most consistent across all the apparatus ‘s. It’ll be big news when someone beats Simone in the AA. All other gymnast are amazing at at least one event but subpar at the others , so of course that gymnast could beat Simone at one event.
@@jacobmiller2663EXACTLY! I have been at pains over these last two months trying to explain just that. I have gone to lengths at times trying to show some avid and I dare say RABID fans of Rebeca or some other WAG that FACTS and FIGURES don't lie and when it comes to to Simone it is CLEAR, she has not lost an AA competition EVER and that is because she is really, really consistent across ALL apparatuses. So, until another WAG, be it Rebeca, Jessica, Listunova, Shilese or whoever can post scores of 14+ CONSISTENTLY across all apparatuses over a WHOLE competition and do that for a year or two, THEN and ONLY THEN will I deem that someone a legitimate threat to Simone. It is also clear that if Simone could take TWO YEARS away from competing with five to six months of SERIOUS training and can return as if she never left then hopes of anyone unseating her from her AA throne will be dependent on a TOKYO like meltdown occurring WHILE in the competition or a bad injury. Short of these two scenarios, history says that every other WAG will be competing for silver and bronze.
She had room for another full twist on that last vault!!
