When I bought these, i didnt see any other options. I would think you would either need to select a different hole to bolt these to or you may have to modify the panel itself. I would check out the forums to see what guys have done. Thanks for watching.
It looks great. I bought a 2007 Road King Classic in October. Last Tuesday the left one fell off on the interstate on my way home. 😳 I thought they were stock parts. Good to know they aren’t. 🍻
Hey Thank You for the great and timely content!!!! I was just trying to do this today with a set I got off amazon and the bolts were/are wrong.... do you have any idea what size the bolts are?? Thank You
Let me check for you. My kit came with two different sets of bolts. Thread pitch was different. I can pull one out and do a check this weekend. Thanks for watching
yo i’m really wanting to do the license plate relocation, my only hold up is the spacer that goes behind it to keep it from rattling, is that something you see at all or sometimes when you’re checking out your bike? or does the license plate cover the sides so your can’t see it because it’s curved?
If you're talking about that black foam black, you don't see it. Honestly you could probably trim it down to make it even less visible. If your bike is lowered then people almost have to hunt for it to see it.
G'day Mike, those filler panels or any of those chromed dress up accessories could do with a coat of corrosion inhibitor on the inside as you can see the plating is very thin and porous.
nice work...my tour pack docking mount is in the way, I wonder is a kit available any where?
