Looking after them Squats

Squats are fantastic bait, but they do take a little bit more looking after.
If you have received your squats through the post the first thing you must do is to open the bag that they come in and allow them to come back round.
Best thing to do is to tip them in to a tray, cat litter trays are prefect. If not a large bait tub or simular. They can take around an hour to start to wake up, they do react to light of which will help bring them around.
Once they have come around and properly moving about it's always worth running them through a sieve to take off any deads or casters. (not to finner sieve though) We always send more than a 1/2 or pint to allow you to do this.
Do not throw away the peat that they have come it though.
Once cleaned through its always worth popping a slice of white bread in with them, add a small amount of milk to the bread.
Keep your squats in a cool dark place, as mentioned above they react to light. light is what will get them turning to casters.
If you have collect your squats from the shop, the looking after is the same.
