The music that's constantly running in the background during this interview makes it un-listenable. It's so distracting. He has the great Michael McDonald being interviewed and yet, he thinks that isn't enough for us. We have to be "entertained" with background music the entire time. Wrong. All we needed to hear was Michael's voice, his insights, and answers. I feel the distraction of the background music was disrespectful of Michael, even if it was added in post-production because it detracts from the quality of the interview and what he had to say. That's unfortunate. Imagine being in a room with someone, trying to share your thoughts and yet, there's a jazz combo playing right behind the chair you're sitting in. It would be hard to get the other person's full attention. Right? Same effect with this video.
