    I fight orthodox and have been working on adding more hip mobility to my right leg and getting better balance on my left. Keep working hard and better yourselves, The best thing I ever learnt from martial arts was that attitude.

      Yeah same everytime i do a kick i stand on my left leg and kick with my right leg because im right legged, i also have a bit better balance on my left leg than my right leg.😅

    For me personally what people call a weak leg or a none dominant leg is actually my more powerful leg because you don’t have as much muscle control so your weak legs doesn’t put back your kicks

    I’m am one of the highest belts in my club, and quite often when we are doing kick, I see people envious of my weak leg because from a bystanders point of view, they look pretty similar, but with more difficult kick, especially tornado kick, the difference is bigger than people think.

    Its in large part your brain and getting the mechanics of the kick in, we tend to be dominant on one side just due to human physiology and most end up like right handers being right dominant

    Also important to recognize that weak leg will change from kick to kick. Side is better for me on the right, front snap better on the left etc.

    My weak leg was terrible, I could do high headkicks on my right but only to the hip on my left, I applied this, and it works, the two are almost equal now

    It's not your weak leg, it's your lead leg! At least that how my coach wants me to think. Also, you can add torque from your rear foot to add to your lead legged kicks.

    bro i 9 months ago i started watching you vids and i just learned how to do a tornado kick from your vids i know how to do a round house a hook kick question mark kick and even a 540 kick i even have fast striking good reflexes and even agility thanks for sharing your tricks to other people cause it really helped me alot ❤

    and for me doing techniques slow and controlled on weak side really helped

    I’m right legged and right handed and have gotten into the awful habit of only using my right hand and leg during fights so when I fight I look and feel like I’m disabled on the left side lol. Any tips it’s literally an addiction-like habit at this point.

    I use a lot my weak leg but mostly in orthodox stance for kicking with the lead leg, there are some kicks that i find easier with the left leg and some others with the right leg, does that count?

    Is it weird or this is like a legit thing that happens. I've never had a lead leg or lead arm. I can do everything with both hands equally well, same with the legs. I write with both hands, I punch with both hands I play games like tennis, billiards, handball equally well with both hands. When I spar going southpaw or orthodox is equally normal to me. It was really tough for me when my sensei (I train Kudo) made me pick a guard I was more comfortable with.

    A teenage girl kicked my boss's leg to defend me when the latter scolded me. See, my manager was upset I had signed up for a one-person shift and said she didn't think I could manage the service alone. She was sternly all, "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen. You need someone there to give you instructions and guide you." That's when this teenage girl approached and kicked my boss and said, "Hey, back off, BlTCH! Don't treat him like an idiot."
    Later, I laughed to myself in the bathroom. I don't condone violence, but hey, my boss was being a belittling jerk, and you know what? Her leg is fine; she's not injured. So no worries there.
