The amount of times I’ve eaten shit trying to kick with my right leg unless it’s a back kick to the body is embarrassing😂 looking forward to getting back into training though
For me personally what people call a weak leg or a none dominant leg is actually my more powerful leg because you don’t have as much muscle control so your weak legs doesn’t put back your kicks
I’m am one of the highest belts in my club, and quite often when we are doing kick, I see people envious of my weak leg because from a bystanders point of view, they look pretty similar, but with more difficult kick, especially tornado kick, the difference is bigger than people think.
Its in large part your brain and getting the mechanics of the kick in, we tend to be dominant on one side just due to human physiology and most end up like right handers being right dominant

It's not your weak leg, it's your lead leg! At least that how my coach wants me to think. Also, you can add torque from your rear foot to add to your lead legged kicks.

Basically train weak parts of your body more and for me doing techniques slow and controlled on weak side really helped onces you feel comfortable add speed and footwork
I’m right legged and right handed and have gotten into the awful habit of only using my right hand and leg during fights so when I fight I look and feel like I’m disabled on the left side lol. Any tips it’s literally an addiction-like habit at this point. Thanks and love your vids Nat 💪👍
