17:00 This is a real nugget of wisdom right here. In whatever you do, it may seem super uncomfortable at first but you will get used to it the more you do it. Like you get more comfortable with the uncomfortable face of speaking in front of people when you continue to expose yourself to it. That's the takeaway for me from this video. Great job Zac!

i've had depression and i can tell you it is one the most selfish and narcissistic states of mind one can be in.
It is a constant self obsession that the world and everyone in it is against you.
The best advise to anyone with depression is get a grip and snap out of it.

Terrifyingly, this man can not recognise classic signs of oxygen deprivation at 11:00.
That's no oxygen deprivation, but rather CO2 abundance.

It is a build up but not of trauma but co2 toxicity in the brain, you can see it in Matt too @9:50
I'm surprised no scientist that have examined him have mentioned it may be dangerous to build up that much co2 in the brain, especially letting unpractised others do it too.

Not much money in it because you cant sell a persons will but look at that research papers already released.

They have, it's not world changing. The passing out and being euphoric during breathing exercises is just excess o2 (leading to respiratory alkalosis), cold is good for inflammation, fat loss and metabolism, the rest is mostly placebo and simply living an active body conscious lifestyle.
Since Wim is Dutch many Dutch scientists already have researched him (University of Nijmegen and Maastricht) Conclusion is that some of his methods kinda work, but it’s still mostly his DNA that makes it able for him to do most of this stuff.

It wouldn't surprise me if he gets health problems after this episode. 3 minutes without oxygen and his body went in survival modus. You can see his foot cramping because of the lack of oxygen. But hey Wim calls it letting go of your trauma, sigh.

If you knew anything about the method - it’s about creating an excess of oxygen in the lungs and then holding your breath with that oxygen (getting high on your own supply). Minor spasms occur because a lack of CO2 stops oxygen from getting to the muscles.

I could say yes to about anything-but prob not this. I cannot imagine convincing my mind to jump or submerge in the cold water. Very intriguing and I would love to read a copy of his book. Always have room to grow mentally.
