@@jalvinthedebunker8253 But that's fan speculation. There isn't any actual evidence that William was a bad father, all we know is that he murdered kids for reasons unknown. I personally believe that he did it for immortality, and that he already knew about remnant when he killed them. But that's just a theory.

The note may have said, something along the lines of “Henry, I’m quitting work at the pizzeria.” Then, it may have gone down to:
1] “My family’s deaths have finally gotten to me, I need some time to think.”
2] “I’ve some personal things I’d like to attend to.”
3] “I’ve been too stressed lately.”
4] [most likely] Along the lines of something to do with the Missing Children, quitting, and something to do with Charlotte and/or CC.

That's so good! My theory on what he put on that note would be either a letter of resignation, the note saying that he had problems regarding with the rest of his family's distress. Just to hide real reasons.
It's to see how they would react to their future espeacily these 2 considering they are the ones who have more lore throughout the whole franchise
