    Still my favorite asmrtist out there! These videos from 8 years ago still are leaps better than a lot of videos I see today (in my opinion) it just sounds so real. I also love the roleplay asmrs and how they tell a story without visuals or talking. The lack of visuals also help (in my opinion) the sounds are so clear you can make out what’s happening without getting distracted by visual asmr.
    Don’t get me wrong, I love visual asmr but I get so mesmerized that I end up losing sleep because I love the visuals so much. Which isn’t really what I want out of asmr at 2am
    Will love your channel forever! I hope you’ll post more videos in the future, even if it’s once a year :)

    VOTING RULES:
    This channel has been created for all of you, and I really would like you to be involved in the process of improving it.
    I thought it would be great, if you could from time to time decide by yourself, what kind of video should I make next time.
    Simply this is going to be a voting here in the comments. Today I have three propositions. So, I would like you to thumb up this one, which you like the most.
    Please select only one option.
    After 6 days from today, I will choose this option which gains the most votes.
    Apart from my propositions, you can also suggest your own, and everyone who is interested in can upvote it. Just be sure it is going to be visible to other viewers. The best way would be typing your proposition with caps lock.

    For the past month I have been coming to see if there were any new videos out, and sadly tonight, where it is currently 3 in the morning, I cannot sleep. I've been scrolling through many ASMR videos, but none seem to hit the spot, and as I'm looking through the many ASMRtist I am subscribed to, I come across your channel. To my surprise, a new video. Great video, as always!
    For the record, there are plenty of sounds that most people don't think sound pleasant and yet may still be hugely triggering to some, so I'd certainly love to hear the velcro one :)

      TriggerHappy what's ASMR stand for anyways?

    • @triggerhappysound

      Jacob Clower Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's just a name someone made up to signify the physical sensation some people feel that is triggered by various stimuli (including these sorts of videos).
      The sensation (some) people feel is often describes as 'tingles', and is most often experienced in the head, neck and back/spine. It's a very pleasant sensation, and for some it also has the side effect of being incredibly relaxing (almost sedating), hence these videos being so popular for those that experience asmr.

    • @KeswickCamp08

      TriggerHappy its not just a name someone made up, it is a legitamite name with scientific meaning

    The ones that get me are ones like orange peels being torn and scissors being used, but I can't help but associate negative things with those sounds... like, hearing them makes me think of having flesh torn apart or parts of my inner ear cut off, respectively. Something that makes me laugh is how ironic it is that I enjoy "mouth sound" ASMR (which is just basically smacking chops and tongue clicking - not actually eating) but I cannot stand it when people chew food with their mouth open.

    • @bubblespop5947
      @bubblespop5947 9 лет назад

      I'm the exact sàme, the sounds don't have the same affect on me in my left ear as it does in my right ear, so the mouth sound that I can't stand is unbearable in the left but I like it in my right.

    • @sherirussell9509
      @sherirussell9509 9 лет назад +3

      +Bubbles Pop I agree. I have misophonia so some sounds really bother me like mouth sounds in my daily life. However, in ASMR, it's one of my favorites. It's weird.

    • @bubblespop5947
      @bubblespop5947 8 лет назад

      Sheri Russell that would explain so many things. My parents just get pissed off at me when i do things like like cover my ears whenever my dad is eating around me. His eating is the most piggish like thing i have seen a human do.

    With the ear covering, I honestly thought (and felt that) someone was moving my headphones around on my head...freaky, that it actually invoked a physical sensation as well as an auditory one.
    Also, good job on the Sticky Fingers at 12:01.

    It's like you're in my head. You seem to know exactly how to trigger me. You're sounds are so subtle, so "non" that they don't overpower me like other amsrtists. You tease the tingles out of me without demanding I tingle. If I had the money, I'd totally pay you to do this for me and me alone :)

      Agreed. Sadly, this stupid nuisance is in most layered sound videos too. :(

    Until I discovered ASMR, I had no idea there were people who enjoyed listening to people eat. It makes me want to crush my phone 😂😂😂. I used to scream at my siblings when they ate cereal too loud .

    Is it normal that I'm only affected when its in my right ear? Also its only a very small spot on my back that tingles so much it hurts lol its creepy, is that normal?

    I actually like the eating one because there aren't too many mouth sounds, just crispy crunching ones.

    Video was amazing until the eating and crunching ruined it for me. Cant stand the sound of someone eating in my ear, its obnoxious. Its like when your little brother or sister want to annoy you they eat chips in your ear to piss you off. I cant stand it.

    Interesting. Most of those sounds are highly unpleasant to me, apart from those that have got to do with writing or reading, at least I can stand listening to them haha. Or the crunchy biscuits. The zipper actually was pleasant. Only the head scratching made me tingle a little. I thought it would never happen hahaha!

    The carpet reminded me of my childhood when I'd play with Hotwheels cars on the floor. Perhaps that could be an interesting one, if you recorded the sound of different toy cars on different surfaces.

    Can we get like a firewood crackling sound? Or a grandfather clock ticking with more sounds as well?
