This reminds me of Hickok45’s cigar box full of ammunition he has placed on the deer skin, always a beautiful sight to behold when that much ammo is on display. Thank you for the video!
You should really think about putting some silica packets in there to keep the moisture away from the ammunition even though it's a sealed box. The moisture in the air can affect every time you open and close the box

Nice work. I’ve got just one box of this stuff but it’s starting to come in a bit more regular at my local Walmart. I think it’s 23.49 per box now here but they also had federal champion in the blue box 500ish count and some CCI Stingers and minimags and Winchester white trash.
Dang! That is a lot of ammo. I am so envious that people can afford to purchase that much ammo. I thought I was doing good with one brick of Aguila SV and a brick of CCI SV. (very old Stevens single shot) Thanks for sharing this video.

Hey. I'm thinking about buying a 50 cal can to put some of my 22LR in one of them but I have those 500 rd bulk packs of CCi mini mags. How many of those bricks do you think I can fit into one?
@@E150GT I have a 40mm can I'm filling. So far it's got 10, 325 round boxes and it's not even half full. that's about 3,250 right there. but keep in mind that's not even dumped in, but staying boxed. If you dump them, I'd bet you you could get close to 15k in a 40mm. Good luck lifting it though. lol

I have about 36 boxes of Fed AM.. How's your luck been with the automatch? I took 1 box to the range and had probably 30 malfunctions, from failure to fire, weak rounds, even a couple squibs.. The lot # on the box is F111V01.. Federal did send me a replacement box but I haven't got a chance to try anymore yet..
I had a box of Remington (green box) that had a recall for defective ammo. I contacted Remington and they sent me replacement box and a refund. Now that is good customer service. I have had no issues with Federal AM22 ammo (525 and 325). 2nd most accurate for my old Stevens single shot.
Don’t think much of someone who does what you did Its way too heavy for that can you will stretch the hinges and metal if you move that can You should always keep your ammo in the original box and date the boxes and its called desiccant
Thank you for the fee back Mr. Davaro. It is pretty heavy and I could see where is could stretch the hinges. However I'm planning in keeping it in one place out of the way and only dig into it when I need to fill up a smaller plastic ammo can I have for the range. Thank for watching.

Don’t fast forward the ammo dump. That’s what some of us came here for :) Others can skip the video if they want to see the end result.
yes i wanted to see that

Especially 22 ammo. That stuff just sucks in general for storing with or without packets

Ok.,.very interesting. How much does that can weigh.? Bet thats a beast to get to the shootin table.

I bought 26 cases of this in 2014 and still shoots fine

rn at walmart. the automatch is on rollback for about $18..at least for me
I like the .30 cal ammocans more because they are much easier to handle. So how many .22lr cartridges will fit in the .30 cal cans?
I'm glad I buy all different .22 ammo I'd hate to have to shoot only auto match forever.
Try the Aguila Standard Velocity. Smells funny but is very consistant and accurate in my old single shot.
It’s good to just have on hand. If I were to guess I’d imagine he did this to just put away to have some on hand.

What is the point? I buy CCI 22LR in 5000 round box with individual sealed cases of 100 rounds. Not complaining, just curious.
Is the one you buy 36 or 40 grain?
Nice. I have ambitious goals. Im going to fill a 40mm ammo can with these boxes.
Man so curious of how many rounds it would take to fill it up? You have to keep in touch when you do.
@@tundra2008able it'll be a while. It'll hold 27 boxes full.

One question...Why?

federal automatch is decent but all the other federal 22 ammo is garbage.

how many pounds does it weigh?
Are the Federal Automatch still $21 and some change at walmart?
Last time I checked was about a week ago and they were still $21 and change. Not a bad price considering how much ammo is going for now days.
I got some from PSA for $19.99 for a 325 rnd box. I bought 13 boxes. I plan on getting more but some 5.56 comes 1st.
Might want to store some moisture packs in there
Latest price at Wal-Mart is 16.68.
That looks to real heavy.
Wish he had tried to pick up the can. That thing has weigh a ton 😂😂😂
Cool vid very informative and thanks for sharing!
Yes sir
Ohh yeah
The only problem now is how much dose it weigh ???
42 pounds
@@nosubs2182 How far do you think that you can carry that if you haft to Bug Out ????
Id guess 5280… or what do I win?
That's too heavy, you shouldn't carry anymore than 3250 rounds in a 50 can container to limit it to 15lbs.
That's just enough for my son and I got gopher hunt and plink for a couple of weekends. Not much of a stash really.
Try having 2.5. 50 caliber cans full of this stuff.
I actually have 5.5 of them, I used to have 6.
got about 12000 rds of .22lr stash up between me and My 2 brothers we stacking up for when SHTF we got to hunt small games survive
