Well, I just found an ad in an old New York Times newspaper from 1969 and saw that Synchronex jad a Super 8 camera with synchronized sound was offered for $295. An old telephone-style cord from the tape recorder connected the camera, and contained a f/1.8, 4 to 1 electric zoom lens. It was much lighter than all early VCRs, quite frankly could have been used in a kinescoptic way for recording TV and then being played back in a projector. But alas, it was still a bit too expensive back then unless if you were a pro or rich, and although it's not impossible, it isn't very likely. It's a shame that let alone VCR recording that personal home video sound didn't take off until the mid-80s, meaning that a lot of cool things like schools, rock concerts, city footage, and shopping malls in the '70s could have been saved and the memories of that decade could have been clearer. NYC's Willoughy/Pererless sold this.
Domestic violence is wrong ! A child should never hear his or her parents fight . Epecially the husband / father he should control his temper and be respectful to his wife . 😭😩
Native New Yorker (Brooklyn) here; I never knew Crazy Eddie had stores in Philly until perusing these Philly-area ads in RUclips! Usually, I'd see these ads either on Channel 9 or Channel 11.
