I am currently running a 30 micron filter. Soon I will be replacing this for a 10 micron as recommended by a few motor mechanics. I am believe the Toyota filter is also a 10 micron. I think the main thing and this has been stated by other motor mechanics (I am not, I'm a electronics technician) is the flow rate of the filter. If its too low then this will affect the pump. There is a Toyota dealer in the NT that recommends and will fit the extra filter. Hope this helps, Winston.
Hi I have the fm100 on my v8 landcruiser common rail, I was just wondering have you had any troubles with your filter, mine is going fine no dramas, but I hear now and then that the second filter can damage the pump, your feed back would be good cheers.
