hey everyone! i'm so sorry for reuploading this for the 3rd time omg, i got coppa'd twice. the reason why i decided to reupload it is because my favourite part of being a youtuber is reading the comments on my videos, and it made me sad to lose all of them. this time, i added a clip at the end of someone saying a swear word so i hope this doesn't happen again. despite all of this, i really hope you enjoyed this video !! ☺️

why am i just now noticing pearl and greg turned yellow and blue representing the fact that their recovery from rose's "death" is very similar to how yellow and blue coped with pink's shattering, pearl and blue crying and heavily grieving, greg and yellow grieving but trying to keep up appearance for the betterment of what they needed to focus on. being steven for greg and colonies for yellow
it's literally so amazing how many details the creators put into the show. also, steven's light is pink which is insane foreshadowing!

That was probably an intentional choice by the artists in that episode to convey how much “younger” and more innocent they seemed before Rose’s death.
Plus Rose was in that episode and she makes everyone seem tiny by comparison lol.
They don't age, their style does.

@@rain028 it is extremely depressing because I think Steven ages more slowly then the average human since hes half gem but he’s still half human so he will die eventually I just think the entire movie/show would have been a lot better if pink appeared after white took out Stevens gem the whole thing would have been so much more interesting and better Steven would have wanted what he craved his whole life being human and the gems could have pink back but idk😭

My absolute favorite Pearl moment is when she realizes how badly she had been hurting Amethyst but told Amethyst she was the _one good thing_ to come of the Earth's colonization. Not the rebellion, not her life on Earth, but her little sister figure was the one good thing. The moment the two of them come to an understanding helps Amethyst learn to love herself and that's the most beautiful gift you can give someone else: the chance to love themselves.

It bothered me that the Pebbles made Steven his Pink Diamond outfit over his swim trunks he had been wearing since visiting Yellow Diamond's Extraction Chamber/sauna thingy. He was pretty sweaty and swim trunks aren't made for wearing them long periods of time, and... he had them under the outfit for the entire party, his fusion as Stevonnie, and in Blue Diamond's confinement chamber (and I forgot how long after that until he could change clothes again.) I just know what a swampy swimsuit feels like, ok? It's not good! XP

However, it was pretty clear that Steven was wearing his yellow swim trunks bc Pearl told him (paraphrase) "You'd better change into your trunks," and handed them to him to change into before he went to see Yellow Diamond in the Extraction Chamber. The same swim trunks were previously seen in "Keystone Motel." Also, Steven's underwear are usually briefs/tightie whities. I don't think we've ever seen him in boxers. (I'm not trying to make this weird, there's just a surprising amount of times Steven has been in his undies in the show, I swear!)

Volleyball even has some semblance to Anthy(A girl who is forced to grow up to be a trophy wife, who Utena is in love with and makes it her goal to try to save her from creepy men. I really like the way they tweaked her design after those early eps, and i don't just mean her changes in style when she'd reform after poofing. in that first season she was so spindly and her head was much more of an oval than a circle. she was still great ofc, but the way the artists changed her look was definitely for the better imo

Mr greg is wonderful- it’s literally such a good episode like in all seriousness Deedee have SUCH an amazing performance (that’s actually why they animated it the way they did) and I love greg and pearls development. Now they’re like closer and greg even taught pearl how to play bass it’s just so relieving and sweet to see :)
