    Hi - why cant i use 40lbs mono on the sides and the 150 on the center / main line?

    Could something like this work in freshwater with smaller baits, flies streamers and the like?

      These are more for trolling, I don't think it would work to cast and retrieve just because the bar would have to line up when it hits the water instead if placing it snd letting it go back, it might retrieve crooked.

      But a dredge style would probably work with paddle tails.
