did some of the snare harnesses break? Later in the season some of the snares have black shoulder pieces on their harnesses instead of the aluminum ones that they are using in this video.
When ever I watch the cadets after another corps. I always get completely thrown off with the right foot step-off. Never-the-less, book is crazy this year and I hope they can pull off the win.
I know Star played it in 93. And that's why the cadets keep playing it, cuz they beat them that year. They've played it at least one other time in the 2000 era
Classic vid
I loved watching the quads in this...
They're all high as hell, that's how they are so good. Practice high, get high scores
accurate.
I remember this show live man still to this day I think is my favorite drumline from this year. So clean dude
"ok guys lets do a runthrough!"
everyone: "...what?"
yeah that pretty much sums up drum corps
"hey guys welcome to ensemble let's start out with a full run"
why would you tape to snares marking time durring the tenor solo!?!
He taught the Star 93 drum section. Aged out in 92 with SCV.
I love the guys' reactions when they are told to do a run through. hahaha!
Drumcorps in a nutshell. "Alright, guys let's start off with a run-through!" ----what?
Excellent video. Really brings out how well the basses play with the snares.
These guys are killing it.
6:17-6:42 Bad to the boneeeeee
Sweet! Thanks for posting.
I like watching snares mark time while there's a crazy tenor feature.
Scv or cadets its ganna be tight this year!
Man the quads looked great in this video........
Looks like a really fun book.
Didn't he tech it 20 years ago?
Tenors got no love. :-(
no quad love lol
Hope that the Cadets don't decide to drop out of DCI after this year and form BLAST
I'm pretty sure he didn't age out in 92. He just spent the year teaching in 93, instead of playing. At least I THINK that's what happened.
Why do they lead with the right foot? What's that all about?
Shouts to the Timpani player reppin UNT
+Casey Moore Shout out to the twin snare and tenor repping UH
He was actually the tenor tech for Star '93. But your point still stands, perhaps even more so....
Best book ever, seriously. Fuck sake.

Thats a mighty tight snare line.
Great Job guys! Very good writing too

Where are they at? What state and city?
i think i'm getting dizzy...
It must have been really weird for McNutt to write for Medea, having played it 20 years ago.
I know Star played it in 93. And that's why the cadets keep playing it, cuz they beat them that year. They've played it at least one other time in the 2000 era
Because Cadets.
0:31 "Ok everybody, it's that time...lets do a runthrough"
"wut"
And this is why their percussion got first at finals...
Nice video. You must get a lot of leg exercise.
hold the camera still next time please
No quad love lol
Actually no they haven't. Star of Indiana played it in 1993.
