Lyrics:
Embrace this
The truest
In focus
Around us in celebrating light
And could you breath in the mountain air?
A heavy state for your lungs to seek air
A certain look, and your full moon eyes stare
The smell of your hair, and I'm never letting you go of you now
Heavy
It's a heavy weight
Put it all on me
Is that all I meant to you?
Call me
Could you call my name?
Will it sound the same?
Is that all I meant to you?
The mess of this is shattering
In pieces of such ugly things
For you to hide all you feel in your life
You went away, no where close to my side
And did you breath in the mountain air?
Look twice so your love could seek air
Heavy
It's a heavy weight
Put it all on me
Is that all I meant to you?
Call me
Could you call my name?
Will it sound the same?
Is that all I meant to you?
I don't want to leave your heart to know
You've got to leave room for us to grow
A positive sign, an even flow
Catch a space in time for letting go
And did you breath in the mountain air?
A fallow state for your lungs to seek air
Heavy
It's a heavy weight
Put it all on me
Is that all I meant to you?
Call me
Could you call my name?
Will it sound the same?
Is that all I meant to you?
Smoke rings in a fallow state
It all feels the same
'Cause thats all I meant to you
No band has ever changed with the times like these guys have.
very mute math-ish while still being original, eerie yet hauntingly beautiful.
The exact band I thought of when the chorus came in.
This band should be bigger than they are.
So underrated, this guys are awesome :D
they should be bigger than Maroon 5 hahaha
+Marcello Carvalho very true my friend
sounds like circa survive went jazzy really dig it
As much as I miss Oceana, it makes me really happy to see that these guys are still doing what they love, even if the style of music is completely different.
This was definitely worth the wait!
Incredible!
Who woulda thought the spark of polyenso was that of a breakdown band. This is my goto example when I show people how groups of musicians can mature their sound. Keep on growin boys
chills. every. time.
Osaka Son, The BEST keep getting BETTER! Paul C.
The vibe is just so positive to hate their music, love polyenso & oceana
havent stopped replaying!
aw yeah
All I needed was this today!
I LOVE this song!!!!!
I have been waiting for some new stuff. I LOVED Birth Eater and this new stuff is absolutely beautiful. I know you guys have people bitching about genre jumping but to be able to go back and forth takes a lot of talent. I can't wait for a new full length.
you guys make me real happy.
So glad you guys are starting to bring out the new stuff. Can't wait to hear more.
Soo good! Can anyone remember Oceana's "Cleanhead" EP? This reminds me so much of that EP. They just swapped the guitars with electronic fizz and piano.
No, not quite.
What? Not even close. I love Cleanhead, but this is an entirely different genre/direction.
Jason Cox I wasn't particularly speaking about the genre, more like the overall melancholic feel of it.
Katy Ferry I remember Oceana "The Tide", which was post hardcore genre with former members, Keith Jones was the leader .. "Clean Head" was quite acceptable, as also "Polyenso" with its new material..
I think the only response necessary is "who could forget clean head?" Not my comparison of the two obviously.
This is bloody awesome....
Really like the backing to this, reminds me of something Ive heard a long time ago.
There has to be a lyric video for this!!! Polyenso hype!
Such a great track. I can't wait for more from this talented group of musicians!
finally they put out new music!
OMGG been waiting forever yess
So good.
So good!
i was introduced to oceana through myspace, my first song was hello astronaut eventually stumbled on the birth eater album and fell inlove with it. as bad as it may sound birtheater id played all morning for atleast 3 hours everymorning or atleast on my oceana pandora which is the 12 birtheater songs and a very few other misc songs from other bands. it took me years to accept Joy because of how fixated I was and still am on birtheater. eventually i came to really dig it.
now from the beginning when I first found them around 14 or 15 years old till a month before my 20th last week was stuck on oceana. I thought they completely disbanded because I only took a deep interest into their music rather than them. which I realized so I messaged polyenso's fb page and went on a similar rant of fandom as is above.
apparently they no longer play birth eater.
all in all the music has a rather large spot in my very soul.
anywhore I'm done now roast all ya want
but seriously though I'm dying to see them at some point
this song is so fucking good
hurry up and release more
So fucking perfect
Lynn Gunn from PVRIS sent me here
Same here
I want to like it as much as oceano. I appreciate it, but i just can't do it.
You mean Oceana right because that's a big factor haha.
Kyle Hines LMAO yeah thats a huge fucking genre difference right there
Please subtitle in Spanish of the song happy 🙏🙏🥺
Paul Lienso
someone knows whay the songs call that way
wonder
I can't believe Oceana changed into this -_-
Neither can I, it's always good seeing a band progress without sticking to a trend :)
Am I the only one who noticed the image changed?
you mean the hand?
It's amazing how much better these two songs are than anything from OBPL, and I loved that album!
