Religion undertones existed in the storyline from episode 1. Anthony Hopkins is God and all the hosts are his creation who are starting to doubt their world and their own purpose. That's basically every religion ever.
Right around 22:00, you guy ask why they would leave the bullet in... at first I wondered the same thing, but then I watched this video and some others again, and realized the answer. After Maeve gets shot and she has the "vision" of being worked on by the guys in the masks, you can hear one of them say something like, "Hurry it up! She needs to be back out there!" and another guy says, "I'm not finished yet!" and the first guy responds, "Well, just patch her up then, get her back out there!" So to me, it seems like maybe they were in a hurry to get her back into town, and so they didn't bother removing the bullet. They just "patched her up" and sent her back out, not knowing that she would remember it.
the whole religion thing is not them trying to introduce religion to robots though, the whole point is to have plausible deniability basically, it's a scripted cover up - it exists to stop them from asking anymore questions
Ford might not even be trying to bring in religion. It could have just been something the hosts naturally developed (and that Ford and the rest allowed) in order for the hosts to deal with their hazmat suit cleanups. It's much the same as ancient man interpreting events in the natural world that they didn't understand as acts of God(s). I'm pretty sure Hector pulled a bullet fragment out of Maeve. It was probably missed during a cleanup after she'd been shot and "killed." The maintenance crew does the same job repeatedly and are rushed to get the hosts back out in the park so it's understandable that they may make get complacent or make mistakes removing bullet fragments.
She woke during their maintenance session and fled to the first arrival decontamination center. There, she was drugged and taken back into custody. I'm certain the workers were rattled and may not have fully cleared and repaired Maeve's wound as they raced to cover up their tracks.
Keep in mind that the access point to the park for the technicians are elevators, that "ascend from the Underworld". So, you see the ground open up and a figure unlike anything you've ever see shows up. Either Aliens or Demons.
It's kind of like us with aliens right she drew pictures of these beings that come and wake them operate on them and boom they wake up back in their rooms. Know of any of thems stories oh yeah classic alien abduction. I think Westworld is coming close to trying to tell us this is what we are without telling us thinking that folks should figure that out by now this many episodes in its parallel to how we think and act.
I had the same reaction as Pat when Ford showed Bernard the steeple last episode (ie: Please no religion BS!) which, thanks to Dolores' flashback from THIS episode, we know is an actual church that's been buried. Maybe the excavators aren't breaking ground for a new section of the park, maybe they're digging up an old, retired section?
I feel like Hector is my fave character right now "Some say it's a blessing to see the masters who pull your strings" was the line that did it for me this episode. It's so interesting, can't find another word to describe it, it's so darn interesting. LOL Suraj, it's ok to make lost references because that's what i think too (I miss that show also man in black, will we see a smoke monster? Who knows) Cant wait to see where this show goes. Glad you are carrying on with it, doesnt matter if it's late! (LOL at Micky glitching and the Member berries!)
Because Religion is a result of the realization of self. It's one of the first steps to consciousness. The idea that the world was created for and revolves around. . . . .you, because your special.
They don't make enough money on these videos to exile their good friend just to please a few viewers. They make these videos for fun mostly, don't rain on their parade.
Pat is amazing? what are you talking about. he is natrually out of it, that's his character, his backstory. :)) they humans created him to be a big buff tired guy :)
You guys should wait until the end of the season before watching the movie. The series is giving the androids all kind of depth that was just impossible to go into in a two hour movie.
Goddammit! Batman has parts of this show so figured out over the course of the first few episodes. I'm honestly kinda jealous. I want to be among those who are worthy of frequenting the holy sectional couch.
I don't know how i haven't seen you guys before love reaction videos just found your channel, great videos guys! Like some of you guys pointed out they introduced those guys in the suits as part of their religion because i'm sure some of the bot's remember them and they want to have a story for what there seeing so they wont think there going crazy but it looks like for some it's having the opposite affect.
Abou the discussion on the bullet. I believe that that is a special bullet that only hurt host and not the guests. And they probably left it inside of her on that day she woke up during "operation"/"cleaning"/"repairing". Those two guys probably hushed to finish the work so nobody found out they made a mistake, so...they forgot to pull it out.
do you guys know that the actor who plays the one employee/overseer/security guard guy who was hunting the stray host last episode is one of the Hemsworth brothers?
Wait, Now that she pulled the Bullet out, how the fuck is she gonna member it the next time she wakes up to do her narrative... Also How was there a bullet in her? Isn't it like something like a Paintball which notices when it hits people and hosts??? How was it in her?
You'll notice in a previous scene, the human examiners do actually find a bullet wound but don't have enough time to get it out as they need to get her back on the floor. It is covered, just not very well. And thats how she remembers the bullet but no actual bullet wound.
Damjan Plamenac the host have bullets that only kill other host and the guest have bullets that kill host as well but the host bullets can't kill guests
I know, but the bullet in Maeve was a metal bullet. SO if that same bullet went flying towards a person, would it just kinda deflect or turn to dust upon hitting the guests? Cause it was lodged well inside 'er. Maybe the answer's simple as that, just kinda weird to get my mind around it, especially when it was in her belly.
I have that feeling too, something is just so off about Bernard, he can't be real. I think the only person who knows is Ford, he must have created him.
the thing i feel is most Odd about Bernard, is that his son died....Not that long ago and in a world where they can kill every illness...he dies and spends along time i the hospital..doesn't make sense.
Some people reckon he is a copy of Arnold and the scenes with Bernard and Dolores where he speaks about the maze are actually scenes with Arnold and Dolores. Pretty crazy, but fun theory.
The hosts and the guests use the same guns. They both fire pellets that hit like paint balls. I believe the hosts bodies basically have squibs lining the inside of the skin that react appropriately with a "bullet" impact. A host can shoot a guest. It will just sting (and with enough experience, a guest would hardly notice it.) A guest could shoot another guest and the shots would just sting. Only some hosts are programmed to use knives. The knives are real, but if a guest went at another guest with a knife, I expect the hosts are programmed to intervene (3 laws and all.) The same would apply to a lesser extent if two hosts got in a fist fight.
where was chris?? and it was a bullet . they showed a lilttle flashback where the guys who were 'servicing ' her ran out of time or some shit and they left the bullet in
I have a theory (based on a bunch of other theories I've been reading). There are different timelines and I think Bernard is Arnold... in a way. I think Bernard was created by Arnold as his avatar, as an idea that, at first, only existed inside the program. After Arnold died, Ford recreated Bernard as a robot. I think the conversations between him and Dolores is happening in the past and inside her mind, as a dream, and she is the one who told William (aka the MIB) about the maze he's been searching for ever since. . I think that everytime we hear the voice inside Dolores head saying “remember” _ or everytime anyone else says the word “remember” to her _ the timeline changes. I also think that (due to some kind of accident that happened in the park 30 years ago caused by Dolores first awakening) the MIB almost died, and some parts of his body (or all of it except for his head) were replaced by robotic ones.
My friend told me this theory he had and I needed to share it here. What if, Will, the guy with the white hat, is actually the man in black looking for the maze? What if, his scenes with his friend are actually 30 years before the scenes with the man in black? I mean, maybe when dolores and the other hosts started glitching and what not, they found out about that maze thing and since Will is with her, he finds out about it, some shit happens and now hes trying to find it again!!! Maybe is way too crazy but, when he said it, I found it solid and awesome :D
WordoftheElderGods I don't know about that, the theory is still in play IMHO. Dolores has had multiple encounters with each one a little different so it remains to be seen which one is playing out right now. If anything what they're doing right now seems to have all the hallmarks of a twist..
Can you explain/discuss in the next episode how the different storylines colide/work? For exampl: What if Dolores gets to the city and talks to Maeve, than dies, wakes up the next morning, gets to the city and talks to Maeve again. But if Maeves storyline wasn't finished after one day, wouldn't it be weird for her, that Dolores can't remember their first conversation? Wouldn't she get suspicious? Could be that there was already an answer for it, I might have missed it. Love your videos!
Ford and Arnold were god's that battled 30 years ago. Now round two begins. The MiB is Arnold's avatar. Ford is training Delores to be his champion in the Maze. Maeve is perhaps a third player, uncertainty. I think the interviews with Clothed Delores are mental which explains getting her in and out. Further I think it is Ford behind those interviews.
He is lucky for sure however as for being a man that is less certain. He keeps glitching and saying the same thing over and over which leads me to suspect he maybe....
I'm pretty confident none of this is linear. I think the storyline where they said they are introducing Wyatt is way in the past, and the Ed Harris one is present
It doesnt have to be camera's. It's the future. Who's to say that it isnt some sort of sonar technology. Where sound bounces off everything and a computer constructs the video from that.
In reference to Hopkins storyline. He's said he's been working on it for awhile. "Wyatt" could be a character who's been there awhile. The only new thing is Cyclops's origin story. I dont think Wyatt is a new addition. Just his relationship with cyclops is a new addition.
No I don't want to insult the fans of the show.I wasn't happy with them basically saying "We've done ep.1,2,3 of WW and we enjoy it but TWD is returning on sunday so screw WW."
There are actually 2 movies and a TV series; WestWorld, FutureWorld, and Beyond WestWorld. Having seen the movie I'd say don't bother watching it if you're looking for answers. The story is much more expansive here. The movie just doesn't hold up IMO, but if you like cheesy old sci-fi, it is worth a watch.
Austin Gonder No one you take everything at face value where it's not as good as its source material, there's no thinking or intelligence needed to watch the TWD, but in Westwood you are rewarded for thinking about it, the small facts and moments. The walking dead, is clearly a B-show as it's never on for any awards. Plus a lot of scenes don't add to the overall story whilst each scene in WW add to the overarching line.
When you guys asked if the pretty boy black hat "knows". I Laughed. No offense, but you guys REALLY need to pay closer attention more. The hazmat suit guy is a part of the native religion. It was mentioned that the black hat pretty boy is either half native, or grew up with the natives. Therefore, the only thing he "knows" is the native religion.
The more I watch and discuss it, I am more convinced in the two timelines theory about William and The Man in Black is correct. I didn't like the theory at first, but the evidence is stacking up now. I think it's just an editing fake out by the show to make us assume that the "present" Dolores running from the barn happened just before she ran away and into the arms of William.
Symon Oliveira I thought the same thing initially, but theres much more evidence for it than against it. The only real evidence against the theory is that we see Dolores flashing riding away from the farm after her parents are killed in episode 3, then we see her run to Williams camp and faint into his arms. But that's easily explained away by the fact that those are seperate scenes. And if it was all happening sequential, then how would Bernard take Dolores away in the middle of the night while she was sleeping in Williams camp to speak with her just before putting her right back in camp before they woke up? Its possible, but that seems really odd. If we see the Man in Black meet William, then we'll know its all straightforward and there arent two timelines.
That theory is absolutely wrong, since we see the guy that sleeps with his gun, talking about allowing the man in black actions, and in another scene he talks about dolores running off her storyline with Will.
Survivor S that has already been addressed and you're assuming that those scenes are happening in the same timeline as the william stuff. We've never seen the security guy you're speaking of in a a scene where he talks about William. You see Dolores run off, then in another scene you see her go to William's camp. Then at the start of the next episode she's talking to Bernard and then she wakes up in Williams camp again in the next scene. Everything you mentioned is easily addressed in that theory, whether its accurate or not.
Not sure if you're at all familiar with Native American belief systems, but what Hector is referring to as Shades reminds me of Kachina. Google that shit.
Come on, dude, seriously. Is the same idea what happen in the real world, something strange happen, people think is God, angel, devil, when is actually aliens, but people still think is supernatural.
It's really too bad that they couldn't just enjoy the show for what it is instead of criticizing it for things that aren't actually happening lol. Protip: putting on a show of "I'm too smart for this" before it is possible for you to understand what's happening is the reason why people find elitist types to be so annoying and generally a drag. There's really no reason for it, this is not how you're supposed to enjoy art by predicting its future failure. Also THE WALKING DEAD SUCKS and is a much shallower and less original story line at its slowest than The Walking Dead.
Religion undertones existed in the storyline from episode 1. Anthony Hopkins is God and all the hosts are his creation who are starting to doubt their world and their own purpose.
That's basically every religion ever.
actually Arnold is God to the hosts as well.
The Programmer of video games Isn't Arnold more like the devil? Trying to make the hosts conscious?
Personally I love the effect Westworld has like that super mysterious vibe and wtf moments because it keeps it open to your imagination
Ella Kit Seriously. I say whaaa? about every
5 minutes during this show.
Right around 22:00, you guy ask why they would leave the bullet in... at first I wondered the same thing, but then I watched this video and some others again, and realized the answer. Is it true that the more Pat says he doesnt like a show the more reason we have to believe that he actually loves it?
Pat Logic I think so
Hahah yes!
Did you purposely create that username?
toh786 No he accidentally created that username. :P
after watching 2+ years of the normies, I fucking love Pat
We could be synths
We're Cylons. Haven't you watched BSG?

Im happy you still do westworld reactions. Loving this show.
It's a bullet. There is a scene in the flashbacks know where they talk about leaving a fragment because they have to get her back on the floor.
"Attempt 3" - Micky's face 😂
Poor Micky XD
Pat's theories are idiotic. He's not bright enough to enjoy this show.
*****
lol, you sound exactly like him.
That's pretty much all shows. Unless it's just straight up porn.

Is the same idea as Matrix.
Kevin Wilson i agree, like they say ancient civilizations gods were actualy aliens.... i think they are doing something like that
Aliens are made up bullshit

Is that undecorated wall behind you guys real or merely a metal barrier of our own fabrication?
Glad you are sticking to this! Ford in GOD MODE, she changed undies after that interview.
Suraj, do you know that the actor who plays Hector was on Lost? lol
I do!!! hehehehe I just didn't want to say it again because they will punch me if I make another Lost reference.
That's Xerxes
The Normies oh got it! But you have to make a Lost reference every episode, otherwise is no fun lol
Why so much hate with LOST ??? it's 1 of my top 5 shows ever.
amin bagheri is on my top 10, I love it despite the ending lol
*The year 2089*

@The Normies Do you guys watch Black Mirror? All 3 seasons are up on Netflix.
Can we make "We could be synths" into a Normies meme
"We could be synths."
I Feels like everyone hates that guy on the end just get rid of him
J Pott You feels wrong, speak for yourself
nahhhh

keep this going pls
Marketa was in the lab for maintenance
Really good episode...
omg rewatching those scenes after finishing the whole season makes me realise how really smart it is
Goddammit! Batman has parts of this show so figured out over the course of the first few episodes. I'm honestly kinda jealous. I want to be among those who are worthy of frequenting the holy sectional couch.
religion are for the host that remembers shit, so they have some kind of explanations for the weird things that they're remembering.
I don't know how i haven't seen you guys before love reaction videos just found your channel, great videos guys! bernard makes Dolores read the same passage from lost when jack read it to aaron
Resubscribed to you guys! Glad to see you back on the Westworld trail!

I guess.... what i'm really wondering now is how the bullets work in Westworld.
Yeah, seems like they pierce the skin of hosts and bruise new comers / humans
Damjan Plamenac the host have bullets that only kill other host and the guest have bullets that kill host as well but the host bullets can't kill guests
I know, but the bullet in Maeve was a metal bullet. SO if that same bullet went flying towards a person, would it just kinda deflect or turn to dust upon hitting the guests? Cause it was lodged well inside 'er. Maybe the answer's simple as that, just kinda weird to get my mind around it, especially when it was in her belly.
10:00 - 10:05 reminded of the beginning of Jurassic Park.
I have a feeling Bernard is a host. Also I think the color of the hats distinguishes hosts from guests.
I have that feeling too, something is just so off about Bernard, he can't be real. I think the only person who knows is Ford, he must have created him.
I thought that woman he is sleeping with is a host because her speech pattern is so odd. But she was there as a child with her family, so I guess not.
the thing i feel is most Odd about Bernard, is that his son died....Not that long ago and in a world where they can kill every illness...he dies and spends along time i the hospital..doesn't make sense.

On the Shades, several western native tribes have wall drawings that look just like Maeve's.
Guys... Black Mirror reactions!
Suraj, did you ever think that we could be synths? I just came up with that idea...
I think the guy who owns the park wants the robots to see him as their god.
where was chris?? and it was a bullet . they showed a lilttle flashback where the guys who were 'servicing ' her ran out of time or some shit and they left the bullet in
I have a theory (based on a bunch of other theories I've been reading). There are different timelines and I think Bernard is Arnold... in a way. I think Bernard was created by Arnold as his avatar, as an idea that, at first, only existed inside the program. After Arnold died, Ford recreated Bernard as a robot. I think the conversations between him and Dolores is happening in the past and inside her mind, as a dream, and she is the one who told William (aka the MIB) about the maze he's been searching for ever since. . I think that everytime we hear the voice inside Dolores
head saying “remember” _ or everytime anyone else says the word “remember” to
her _ the timeline changes. I also think that (due to some kind of accident that happened in the park 30 years ago caused by Dolores first awakening) the MIB almost died, and some parts of his body (or all of it except for his head) were replaced by robotic ones.
The flies are not cameras, on the website it states to only living animals at the park are flies, everything else living thier are robots or guests.
Yeah, it's a popular theory.
Richard Strong oh i havent heard of it until a couple of days ago lol
It's wrong.
WordoftheElderGods it's ok, theorizing is just fun either way :3
WordoftheElderGods I don't know about that, the theory is still in play IMHO. Dolores has had multiple encounters with each one a little different so it remains to be seen which one is playing out right now. If anything what they're doing right now seems to have all the hallmarks of a twist..

Could be that there was already an answer for it, I might have missed it.
Love your videos!
Theory: white hat guy is the black hat guy 30 years earlier.
I'm only on this episode so no spoilers for future episodes please.
What suggests that there is time travel in this show?
Ford and Arnold were god's that battled 30 years ago. Now round two begins. The MiB is Arnold's avatar. Ford is training Delores to be his champion in the Maze. Maeve is perhaps a third player, uncertainty. I think the interviews with Clothed Delores are mental which explains getting her in and out. Further I think it is Ford behind those interviews.
krichardj obviously wrong, man in black is william and besides arnold loved the hosts, william saw them as play things.
Anthony Hopkins scene was awesome
The actor who plays Hector is Brazilian, and I am Brazilian, only to say!(Rodrigo santoro)
You are a lucky man, bearded man in the middle. She is really beautiful and cute.
He is lucky for sure however as for being a man that is less certain.
He keeps glitching and saying the same thing over and over which leads me to suspect he maybe....
You are just a troll.
Very suspicious.
Haha
I'm pretty confident none of this is linear. I think the storyline where they said they are introducing Wyatt is way in the past, and the Ed Harris one is present

dang it #2 oh well keep up the great vids normies....
rip marketa (btw where is marketa from i like her accent ;) )
Dunno about accent, but I love they have Czech represented! (I think she's Czech, right?)
Pokka626 hello! its me!
The accent is part of her programming.
DeeJayObi yes she's Czech
did you all have a GOT group as well? think maybe i watched
Yea, they do it every season. They find other shows while waiting for the next one :D like everyone else ;)
I just realised that that spanish criminal played Jesus in Ben Hur
those 2 where looking for the treasure. only the man in black is looking for the maze
In reference to Hopkins storyline. He's said he's been working on it for awhile. "Wyatt" could be a character who's been there awhile. The only new thing is Cyclops's origin story. I dont think Wyatt is a new addition. Just his relationship with cyclops is a new addition.
lol the bullet expands on impact. It isn't some screw XD
Was it not obvious that the thing she drew was the doctor in the suit and they are just remembering them?
Unlike Jurassic Park, where the book came before the movie, there was first the Westworld movie and then the novelization of the script.
The maze is the key to solving this season...next season will be a different scenerio...Roman Empire times than Middle Ages/Medieval?
Hopefully the Westworld fan boys are happy
Sebastian Greyjoy it was borderline pathetic how they acted on the last video.
No I don't want to insult the fans of the show.I wasn't happy with them basically saying "We've done ep.1,2,3 of WW and we enjoy it but TWD is returning on sunday so screw WW."
Martin Simeonov I can understand that. But that's two shows on the same night. That could be tiresome for them.
Instead of asking them to move it to a different day "hurr DURR fuck TWD DURRR"
Rodrigo Santoro representing from brazil
There are actually 2 movies and a TV series; WestWorld, FutureWorld, and Beyond WestWorld. Having seen the movie I'd say don't bother watching it if you're looking for answers. The story is much more expansive here. The movie just doesn't hold up IMO, but if you like cheesy old sci-fi, it is worth a watch.
Hey Normies, if that fair use timer is counting seconds, its going a little bit too fast.
Sensor bullets, hit human leave a mark. Also note hosts cannot fire at head or eyes.
My dog like being scratched on his belly. :D
Finally!
You know, we could be synths.
That voice is neither Ford nor Bernard's. It's Arnold's voice.
We'll(this is comment is 11 months old) Bernard is a host based on Arnold they were correct it is bernard's voice
The voice is supposed to be Arnold's
13:53 ROFL!!!
dont worry ya mindless TWD will be back soon
TWD is better than Westworld no question
Austin Gonder Not really
TWD could possibly be a part of Westworld - they've been repeating the same storyline for the past 7 seasons

No one you take everything at face value where it's not as good as its source material, there's no thinking or intelligence needed to watch the TWD, but in Westwood you are rewarded for thinking about it, the small facts and moments.
I don't know how someone think this teory is possible.
+Joshua Faught I doubt, is just one timeline, HBO isn't doing a conspiracy.
Why does pat do the reactions if he's gonna act unimpressed every single time??? Not showing up for Walking Dead though, Respek
Poor Teddy.
Not sure if you're at all familiar with Native American belief systems, but what Hector is referring to as Shades reminds me of Kachina. Google that shit.
Bronze medal for me!
I feel like Westworld is too fastpaced in story telling that it will last only one season or max 2 sesons
south park S20 E6 pls
Robots. Any day lol
Have to do it, First.
Stop trying to make black hat a good guy, cause *spoiler alert* he’s not.
that guy in the back right just looks for reasons to hate the show
Come on, dude, seriously. Is the same idea what happen in the real world, something strange happen, people think is God, angel, devil, when is actually aliens, but people still think is supernatural.
Symon Oliveira aliens don't exist
you need a line of cocaine for energy!! this chapter is a little flap 😕😕
Walking Dead
WestWorld over Walking Dead
Whhhhaaaaaaat?
Hahaha! Pat doesn't like this show for all kinds of reasons...religion, too much stuff...smh.
Oh Pat, you are just too dense

It's really too bad that they couldn't just enjoy the show for what it is instead of criticizing it for things that aren't actually happening lol.
Protip: putting on a show of "I'm too smart for this" before it is possible for you to understand what's happening is the reason why people find elitist types to be so annoying and generally a drag. There's really no reason for it, this is not how you're supposed to enjoy art by predicting its future failure.
Also THE WALKING DEAD SUCKS and is a much shallower and less original story line at its slowest than The Walking Dead.
is that mia khalifa?
