I've always wished a company would produce a reproduction of the M1900. There are a ton of companies worldwide making the M1911, it'd be neat to have one with the earlier double link design
These are pretty mild loads. I'm using regular .38 super brass with Winchester small pistol primers. The load is 6.0gns of Unique behind a 115gn 9mm fmj bullet doing about 1080 fps.
Yes. .38 ACP was originally loaded as powerful as .38 Super, but these guns were simply not fit for shooting such powerful ammo, so it was reduced in power for safety. .38 Super is the original .38 ACP, except now you have a nice and sturdy 1911 to use it with. What you can do is to use spent .38 Super casings to make .38 ACP loads (like in this video), as the dimensions are identical.
This gun looks so dumb but so cool at the same time. The slide is way too long and the grip is too short, but in a way it kind of looks like a cartoonish interpretation of what an American gun from about 1900-1950 would look like. I like it for that reason, as well as the fact that it's got that '1911 Prototype' feel to it despite being an actual production gun.
Hard to find any videos of this gun for some reason. Thank you.
Because it's kinda rare
Few copies were made of this gun rare than that It is the Colt model 1900 the First pistol made by the Colt manufacturer company
+++++++ The same deal

If they had a thousand people put the money up they would. But people don't put there money where there mouth is.
I really want reproduction of these, too
@@hoppinggnomethe4154 Y eso que su munición todavía se fabrica Hasta ahora👌
That's a beautiful pistol.
Brilliant to see you shooting it! What a Jen! I inherited a 1918 Colt 1911 black army and I love to shoot it. Damn accurate too!
I do know what it means to shoot such an old firearm. Thank you for showing us.
@@matrixreloaded667go back to your video games no one cares
1908/05 would be the one reproduction I'd like to own!! Colt could open up new business with this line of weapons!
Looks edible . Serious made out of a listing ship .
Hey Vince do you have any specks on the ammo you are running?
Bullet weight, bullet size, power, powder weight.

I Have Finally Found My 1911’s Brother.. XD

I believe that actually a Colt m1900 but look similar to the m1902.
Does this fire 38 acp ?

Did they grip the gun the same way in 1902? Cause I thought grip your using is fairly modern but Im not sure?
Probably not, I believe at the time a one handed grip was standard. I'm just trying to keep it steady for the camera.
He lives in Utah. Stop asking
wow that runs great. thanks.
with that grip angle, how does it feel when shooting?
Wooow I didn’t know, it’s so large and long, considering it’s .38 acp round
Would you happen to have a sear spring for one of these? Or for the 1900 1903 or 1905?
I have a colt .38 1900 if anyone is interested. Super cheap
I'm interested I'd definitely buy
Let’s see it with a trijicon rmr and a surefire x300u

Crazy stupid to fire a gun straight to nowhere!
