If you don't mind buying a pre used car , take a look at Honda accord 3.5L V6/ 2.4L or a Suzuki Kizashi 😅 Yes, for a new car the Octavia is definitely the VFM prospective. However, service, reliability and complicated electronics of the DSG gearboxes are still a concern in my opinion. The Jeep compass has far improved on reliability front with the initial batches facing severe problems in the clutch. The 2.0L diesel is punchy, steering is precise, minimal body roll, better suspension than the Octavia ( I felt this since I took a test drive of both the diesel cars ). Service interval is long (15,000kms)and avg service cost is around 15k per service. But the Compass lacks many premium touches of the Octavia like better cabin quality to say the least. Hope it helps.

Like for example 2007 model civic comes without cruise control and few instrument cluster functions, but it does have cruise control light, 2010 model of civic comes up with cruise control n few instrument cluster functions, so Is it possible to upgrade 2007 model with those functions in 2010 model? When reserve light glows, the remaining fuel left is close to 12L.( according to calculations made by fellow Civic owners) I read your other comment about the cruise control retrofit. First of all kudos to your curious eyes 😇. Actually the retrofit is possible since fellow Civic owners in Pakistan have retrofitted OEM cruise control in their cars. But no one has done it in India. And for the retrofit, the mechanic should have sound wiring knowledge. Also almost 10 components should be changed say brake pedal switch, clutch pedal switch, clock spring in the steering wheel, instrument cluster also ( since no wiring slot will be there I presume ) etc. And some accessory shops in Pakistan are also doing the retrofit charging Rs.18,000. ( I saw this in an OLX ad in the Pakistan site) . Hope this helps you :)

@@chandramohanr4321 every new car reviews will come on this channel one by one :) cheers... and in Indian standards.. they are not making good cars anymore... new honda civic 2019 don't have the feel of the old civic... enenthough it has the same old civic engine 1.8 liter .. still it does not have the old engine feel... why ? and in India they are not giving 1.5 civic turbo petrol why ? Old has its value always.. remember that... and only a pure car enthusiast can feel it... and normal car buyers dont know those.. all they care about is only features ... and thats it :) old city,civic and accord where distinctive... had their own personalities .... and you know whats happening with the NEW cars ? amaze,civic and accord all look like the same.. it is hard to differentiate (for normal people) ... and this is what your new age of cars are like... i have driven both old and new civic as well... so i know whats missing.... go and ask any old civic enthusiast...they will tell you more abt how crappy the new civic is ......
