- I’m in the Peak District this time for a wildcamp at what I consider to be its most remote remote spot while bagging a few Ethels along the way! I also test out some new food and kit!

I camped there last Friday but it didn’t feel that remote as the spot you camped on was already taken! We had to pitch our tents on all the peat next to the trig points. A great night but the cleaning took a while the following day.
Yeah I guessed as much as that patch of grass was well flattened long before I arrived! I think there are one or two other spots close by but once I’d seen the spot by the stones I wasn’t going any further! I can only imagine the mess the peat threw up!
When I saw the title I did wonder if it would be somewhere like Margery Stones
Yeah it’s my best guess! Didn’t realise how popular a spot it is until I started researching it! Did have it all to myself though 😉
