i didnt like the art of one piece at first to but then i actually gave it a chance and now its one of my favorite animes and mangas ever
i recommend giving it a chance either the anime or the manga personally say you should read it since its a better manga than anime (that goes for all the big 3 i think) thats all have a nice day! :)

Honestly it's the story of one piece that keeps dragging me back not the art style. I would say give it a watch at least untill the end of the arlong park arc, at that point if the story hasn't hooked you one piece isn't for y'all but at least give it it's fair shot

Technically that's what the Netflix One Piece did too. They could have finished the entire East Blue Saga, but instead made season 1 end just after Arlong Park, where if you weren't hooked by then.... you weren't going to be.

Just a note, One Piece doesnt really work in any other artstyle. I cant imagine anyone drawing luffy's rubber powers in a standard anime artstyle. let alone all the other crazy things in the One Piece world. Its something you have to get into the series in order to appreciate.

Weird anatomy should not be something to turn you away from a wonderful story, this applies to jojo and one piece. I beg that you try to get past the unorthodox art so you can enjoy something truly wonderful
Read the one piece manga instead. There’s a reason it’s the 3rd highest rated manga on MAL and oda is rated the number one mangaka.
I must say, One Piece, despite being one of the best stories I've read, has one of the worst anime adsptations there is. (The pacing is so bad that adapting less than 1 manga chapter per episode is the norm and somehow people forgive it because 'it looks good') If you get into it, I higly advise you to stick to the manga
I just wanna say that yes if you watched one piece week to week it was bad with pacing BUT if you binge it its a lot better stop looking at it from your pov because you watch week to week and suspense exists
