I do like the observation car.
I've done some train travel and would love to do more. So, YES it's fun. The food looked very good and the dome car sure offers a great view. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Thanks Jon.
So that's one vote for fun! As I said, I'll hold off on voting until the final video...last day was the most scenic, IMO!
I appreciate the details you provide, and the freeze-frames are really helpful! I’m taking this train in 2 weeks…very excited & curious for the experience!
Have fun!
Not sure if you realized it, but when you showed downtown Edmonton through the fence, the field and mounds of dirt you see is the site of the old City Centre Airport.
Very cool! I did not know that. I should have scheduled a layover. Would have been great to see the Oilers and the greatest player in this generation, IMO, play (even though I'm a Mighty Duck...), McDavid is fun to watch.
I think train travel is fun but it’s not for everyone. Its a different pace. I like though how you arrive downtown, don’t need to do security, you’re fully free to move about at all times. Would love to see some Amtrak trips down the road!
Well said Jim. There are lots of good points, I'll be detailing my pro's and cons in the final installment.
And thank you so much for your membership! How would you like to be listed in the end credits?
@@TrizityTraveling Happy we now have another way to support the channel. Always learn a lot and it's just great escapism! Well produced and just a joy to watch. Sure, no problem being listed. Hopefully encourages other to join! Jim
Snow on the ground
It was cold and windy at some of the stops...
I am surprised they did not have food carts at the stops
I was surprised that some of the stations were so basic.
No wifi is a bummer
Hmm train derailment sighted while on a train . Not encouraging
