    Nice accessories for the IM 2000 and I’m glad to see they decided to UMH plastic on the spotter arms and J hooks. Liked that you showed how the spotter arms can be used as a landmine stand.

    It's too bad you sold your IM2000. They just came out with a new belt squat attachment for the IM2000 that looks great but I'd love to see you review it. Much better and heavier than the landmine belt squat you demo'd in this video...but I'd be curious to see how it compared to the belt squat you hacked with the lower pulley cable hookup. Anyway, love the reviews....your channel is why I bought my Ironmaster and I'm so glad I did. It checks just about every box for me for an all in one piece.

      I’ve been really happy with my most recent DIY Belt Squat which I made a video for a couple months ago. The only downside is I’m running out of room on the loading pin.

    Thanks for the video. Always enjoy your reviews. I have the spotter arms for the Powertec half rack and they are too short. Wish I could find some longer ones. I like your wood gym floor, which I am guessing is hardwood? I went cheap and built mine with a laminate floating floor, and I just fractured one of the planks by dropping a deadlift....even with a horse stall mat. The fix will be difficult I am afraid.

      Thanks so much! The spotter arms for the Powertec Power Rack are the same length. I’ve mentioned this in a couple of my videos and I hope a change is made in later editions.
      The floor is laminate. I’ve dropped some attachments on the floor and I am worried the day will come when I damage one of the planks. I’m really surprised that happened to you with a horse stall mat. I hope the repair isn’t too bad.

    I had the spotter arms and j hooks for my im2000. I'm not a fan of either one of them. They need to have better designs to keep them from rotating when racking. I had some t3 spotter arms and they were better because of the detent pin.

    • @HomeGymHacksandReviews
      @HomeGymHacksandReviews  3 года назад

      Did you have the older style that was harder to attach and (I think) lacked UHMW? Also, for some bars, the SSB for example, it makes a difference as to which hook is on which slide rail.
