Another great vid! Loved seeing Port Lincoln & Tumby as many holidays there too! I don't think I've ever heard of Port Gibbon! Enjoy your travels! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Hi Margie and Tim , fantastic videos! we really enjoy watching them and following your adventures. We’re really proud of what you’re doing. We look forward to joining you soon, for a few days over Christmas. Love from Pa and Nanna Dianne
Nice to see your adventure, we have just purchased a Maverick Viper 16 and will be doing a similar thing soon(also from Adelaide) but somewhat older (our kids are all grown up). So good to enjoy the great outdoors.
I hope you visited Fisherman Bay while you were at Pt Broughton we have a shack there I used to go to Tumby Bay all the time my uncle and aunty he was the first mechanic on the west coast and had a garage at Tumby he always said "It was the promised land for the chosen few" cheers legends ☺️
Hi there your videos are great to watch, may I ask a couple of questions, the maverick viper 13 is 3000ks ATM isn't the Mitsubishi tritons 3100ks towing I found that you had a GVM upgrade whats your new gvm and what fuel consumption are you getting out from the 2.4lt engine and how is it handling the weight of the tow, thank you. Happy Travels to you and the family 🤗🤗
hey great questions! the new GVM is 3200, we went through Pedders and they were great - we did it from brand new to keep things a bit easier. havn't got a lot of data yet, but so far it seems to be 17L/100 but it has been fairly windy. Towing is OK, but it moves around a lot - that's probably to do with the long suspension travel. We're doing a video on the triton in particular in the next few weeks, so feel free to ask any other questions and I'll either answer here or in detail in a video :) thanks heaps
thats so interesting! we filmed a few weeks ago, so would explain a lot! was very bizarre! isn't the EP beautiful :) just editing some now in national parks down south, its such a great part of the world :)
We had a (now not so) scary encounter a few years ago at a free camp north of Port Hedland WA! We pulled in and were the only campers there, apart from a 4wd parked near a hill a few 100 metres away from us. We set up camp and next minute we heard gun shots!! Then the 4WD came racing over towards us at 100mph! I freaked out as they pulled up close by to us, a man jumped out and then jumped back in the car again. Next minute they came over and spoke to my husband who was outside. Turns out it was a Dad teaching his son how to use a rifle and they had put another target on a hill right beside us which they were wanting to pull down so they could pack up and leave. We laughed about it with the man and his son 😂
that would have been terrifying at the time, then yes, laughable after - we've been camping for years and this is the first weird thing that's happened to us!! makes for some good stories for after thou! safe travels to you :)
