They live on the farms and bus into town to do their banking and shopping . At the end of the season they have a big bbq in town with gifts and sort of a going away festival . There aren't any housing, transportation or availability issues that may come up with trying to find enough local workers every season . Businesses have no problem finding cheaper labour, by opening up work permits to international students and imported labourers. There will be backlash to this abuse, when Canadians cannot get work because all of the positions are already filled by foreign workers. "Contemporary slavery"?
