How the wrangler win if you didnt even try with the toyota and the suzuki?

Pretty sure that the jimny would climb that easy with it short wheel base.
i've driven up mt walker it's steeper than it looks i wouldn't have the balls to attempt it in a jimny. it's a long way to roll.
I totally agree, the Jimny is light and has the electronics to do the job, VERY disappointing, not fare at all....

I watched the Carwow wrangler, G waggon and jimny comparison, wrangler was the only one that failed! IN my opinion, I thought the little Jimny done rather well considering the money the others cost

They would have not even come close. The 70 Series has appalling flex, the Jimny no lockers.
@@nnoddy8161 : Bro they should have atleast tried it. Jimny with its short wheel base could have done it without lockers. And trooper with flex aside was also having a chance. Remeber rangler also did not climb at first. They have improvise inorder to make it climb.
@@alinadir1526 Ali - I promise you, the Jimny (stock standard) will not come close to getting to the top of Walker. Are you familiar with Mount Walker?

@@salvador_mano4x4 70 series does not have 3 diff locks - it has no centre diff. It only has lockers on the front and rear.

@Dale explain to me how an unlocked Jimny is going to make it when a fully locked Rubicon on bigger wheel/tyre combo, with more suitable gearing really struggled. Please don't say, because it is a 'Jimny.'

The difference is you wouldn't take a rubicon because you don't want to scratch it a jimny on the other hand...

The whole pass or fail grade became so pointless when you made the last challenge into just a demonstration
Questions would never have been asked if they at least showed up to what point the Toyota and Suzuki can go through the final stage.
Lame ending, you can't call the Jeep the winner by not giving a chance to the jimny and cruiser. The jimny would have gotten through due to its short wheelbase.

I love them Jimmy but it’s not a hard core off roader, tougher then few though I will point out.

What a farce! Didn't even try the LC or Jimny, and probably both would've made it with competent drivers - it's not all about grip and power, momentum is needed too.
Disappointing video yet again - cut short for unknown reasons rather than giving a full review and trial for each vehicle under test. Not the first time and I hope this isn't how things continue at CA!

One of the best off road test video I've seen so far Though the Wrangler Rubicon is better equipped for the final stage, the LC & Jimmy is also capable if properly equipped Great job guys

I've been watching 4x4 videos for the last 10 years and I've had a few. i currently have a Jeep Wrangler JKU which I love. But believe me, the best all around vehicle ever is the Troopy.
Wrangler Unlimited problem? Low breakover angle.

2nd. where's the rest of the video, we all know the jeep is a decent off roader but it was a one man race. Who in the editing department said "yep upload this video with 3 car mashaup but only review one"
the music is absolutely horrendous and completely over the top.

WOW, we all just watched a 22 minuite Jeep advertisment. An obvious jeep biased review, gotta wonder how much jeep stuffed in the wranglers tiny tiny glove box before they set out on this. The jimny would have made it more effortlessly id say due to its weight, shorter wheel base and electonic brake lockers. I know because i have seen it done. A bit disapointed caradvice, not sure how credible all your reviews are from here on out.

Totally ripped that you didn't give it a crack in the Jimmy! Would have loved to see how it went. Ballsy taking on My Walker in the damp with not a winch between you... Yes the Rubicon is a mighty thing out of the box and the other two would have struggled but can't claim victory without trying the others. Decent vid other than that

The conclusion part is third class.... Jimny and land cruiser should have tried the final hurdle to see how far they can go.

The front axle of my Jeep Wrangler 2019 broke spontaneously at just 4000 km. The FCA cannot solve the problem and is hiding a safety recall from the Brazilian consumer.

Could have gone up that last trail with my short-wheel Suzuki Vitara '03...needs a light vehicle to get up there, not heavy ones like the Wrangler etc
I wonder if the 2 door Wrangler Rubicon(North American market version with stock size(285/70r17) mud terrians) would have made it up without the rocks put underneath it's tires.

you're in denial, the wrangler is by far the most capable off roader here. better clearance, better crawl ratio, front and rear lockers, and more articulation. not to mention the factory 32.7inch bfg's.

Best review ever. Real 4wds going off-road. I hate 4wd reviews that talk about safety comfort and fuel economy. Off-roading is about fun, and it looked like you guys had a great time. I would love to see the stock 76 series land cruiser vs the wrangler rubicon in the future. Keep up the great work.

I've done hills similar to that last section in my Rocky, the Jimny and Cruiser would have done it, and the Wrangler would have been loads easier if you gave it some more beans.

The Troopie has two diff locks and superior clearance so they should have tried it out.
Almost zero flex in the rear. It would not have got past the first hurdle.

I hope you come up with a part 2 of this video with LC and Jimny climbing the hill. tell us all whether car went up the hill or just stood in middle if the hill. rubicon is excellent. so is LC and jimny. and for the difference in money you pay , you get almost same stuff .

Guys the super dramatic action scene music that u have added is extremely distracting!!
I was very interested to see every part of what you guys were doing with the vehicles and listen to it while happening, basically get to see your ACTUAL experience. But u showed only 30% of the offroading, even that in multiple cut shots that is not in proper sequence, switching between slowmo and normal speed whenever u want, loud music when people are speaking, and I repeat the music is really very distracting (not to mention completely out of place for slow and technical stuff like offroading is) and u did not even finish the video! Where is the Jimny and Land Cruiser climbing the hill??? This is not CarAdvice quality video at all. Very Bad.

Get a nice 3-4 inch lift on the Jeep and it would be able to clear those rocks easy.
You all must have a HUGE TARIFF on US cars if a Rubicon costs 64,000 pounds sterling. That's about $20,000 more than a US version.

Plenty of 15+ year old TJ's would disagree with you after spending those years on the toughest trails on the planet getting beat to hell. Different vehicles for different tasks. That Troopy isn't a crawler and the Jeep isn't an overland vehicle, although each can be modded to become more proficient.
Can’t wait for 3D sphere tyres and wheels to go mainstream. They will have a big impact once the technology is there to build reliable suspension and axles\links to allow full independent 360 rotation along all axes on each wheel.
They couldn't find any other Land Cruiser that actually has 4 doors.
I have a lot of affection for serious Jeeps, having owned two in my time, but this “comparison” does the brand no favours.
Do a quick trawl of youtube and you will see Jimnys tackling terrain akin to Mt Walker. (And at current UK prices you can buy three entry level Jimnys for the cost of one entry level Rubicon)
Great review of three great 4x4's. A full size long wheelbase crewcab with lockers would climb that last hill quite effortlessly. Short WB vehicles are good for some obstacles, but not for ones like that last one.
No way he'd try the last in his own car, next time get a Jimny on loan and dive it like you sole it!
