It's a YAK... in RANK II | War Thunder

For some reason, BR 2.7 has no shortage of very strong vehicles across the board. The Yak 7B is one of these vehicles. Think of a yak, except... facing 2.7's. Today, join me as I show you some entertaining gameplay, going over this thing's strengths & how to play it.
Good turn, good roll, great energy retention, good climb, good guns, okay ammo, does not compress, okay speed, easy to point the nose... yep, it's a yak! For real though, this thing is very good. You'll have to be careful with some stuff (you'll see in the video), but you can fight and beat almost anything you'll face if you do it right. I should make these powerful 2.7 vehicles into its own separate series, because there's a lot of them!

If you like the yak 7b, you should try the yak 1b. It is the best yak withing it's br with highest speed, turn rate, and with average climb rate for yaks within the 2.7-3.0 br

debatable. You can make that argument about a lot of planes tho. Yak-1 at 2.3 is practically sealclubbing and, in my opinion, not a fun experience
