This was really one of the best performance of the show. Hua hua and KZ got along in the show. This song is his favorite, Hua Hua performed this before during his concerts.
Thats what I love kz shes very versatile and a musical genius... Love the reaction guys and the spot on analysis about kz... Try to react to kz singing in mandarin the hurts you never knew... This was her most challenging song bec..she has to learn mandarin in less than two weeks.

I love KZ!!! She is an incredible artist!!!! You really should see Jessie J's performance of Purple Rain!! She covered it in the next episode after coming in second to KZ's Rolling in the Deep, and she went all out!! Jessie's and KZ's are,IMHO, the best performances in the show!! Love your reactions!!! If you watched the their interaction through the entire show you would have seen him totally infatuated with KZ!! Even giving her his singing time slots when hers wasn't as desirable!! The look on his face when he was around her was unmistakable!! After KZ left the show she was asked about their relationship. She was dismissive, and referred to him as her brother. Like I said I still feel sorry for him, he was head over heels in love with her!! By the way, he finished second in the entire competition behind the winner, Jessie J, and is an incredible musician!! Thank you for the great reactions!!!!!
I agree that the guitarist Makoy Portado was amazing on this song. He doesn't get recognized enough. If you look at some of KZ's older songs on the Wish Bus (Rolling In The Deep and Royals for example), he's playing the guitar on those. I don't think he's playing on KZ's recent Wish Bus songs though. As the story goes, KZ was having trouble getting the arrangement for Say Something right with the band on the show and she had Makoy fly in from The Philippines on less than 24 hours notice to play this song.
I forgot to add this. KZ is very short. In the clip where KZ first met Jessie J, KZ came up to about Jessie's armpit. And KZ was wearing high heels at the time.

I love it when singers are so down to earth and give props to the musicians. KZ seems sooooo kind and humble.
