2023 Australian International Airshow Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy Crew Interviews.

The 2023 Australian International Airshow was fortunate to have on static display, the United States Air Force, Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy belonging to the 709th Airlift Squadron, part of the 512th Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve, based at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.
The C-5 Galaxy is no stranger to the Australian International Airshow, with multiple appearances over the years, with the first in 1992.
The C-5 Galaxy over the past decade has seen it given a second chance of flight, with uprated engines, and a full avionics upgrade to see it in service for another 20 years minimum.
This particular Galaxy arrived in the darkness, and departed earlier than anticipated, hence our lack of flying vision.
ASO was privileged to have been given the opportunity to chat with the entire aircrew, and film their roles as they explained what they do with the jet.
