I don't play bass but I've always admired Billy and his playing. I've always kept up on what he's been up to. He seems like such a cool and humble guy not to mention one of the best bass players on the planet! I'm so happy for the success of the band. Glad to see them getting the recognition they deserve. Keep rockin Billy! Love you guys!
Wow, Billy has some complex gear, wich explains is really distinct sound. Portnoy goes simple this time while Richie remains as always faithful to the good, old, classic "plug & play" school. Great band!
6:30 Yo Dawg, I heard you like Sheehan signature pedals so I put a Sheehan signature pedal in the clean loop of your Sheehan signature pedal, so you can have a little bit more of a Sheehan sound in your Sheehan sound.
Really cool that its actually Billy, Mike , and Richie showing the gear instead of just some tech. Most gear reviews are the techs saying "well, he likes this for some reason", or "I dont know...." I love these guys, and have been wondering for some time now what Richie was actually using. Thanks!!!!
I clearly need to take a deeper dive into Richie Kotzen. I'm not familiar with his previous stuff, but he's an amazing guitarist, great singer and then... when he just fooled around on the Vintage Vibe keys... my jaw dropped. Seriously talented guy that I need to get more into.
I've seen them twice. If you haven't caught their live show, make it a point to do it. You won't be disappointed. They are incredible! Their debut album is off the hook!
Sheehan always seems personable, down to earth, his talent doesn't let ego overtake him. Cool guy.
Indeed
Great Interview ... Billy Sheehan is a BOSS

Excellent video! All three guys were very interesting, but I was really taken by Billy's unusual rig.

I have been waiting for this!!
Great set up
Simple gear, what makes them awsome is their talent, pure raw talent. What an amaing band!
"Rock solid", Billy

Awesome show in Oakland! 7/1/14
Ending quote went something like this, "You're now free to jazz." hahaha
Every time I see Richie in a Winery Dog interview I just think: "420 blazin" lol.
Haha my band uses the exact same in-ear monitoring! :D I feel special now...
He Using Product from Indonesia
I love you Bill
come to Indonesia with The Winery Dogs

"José is behind me swingin' it in 'n out" :-D
Awesome. It would be great if you came to Australia.
Brilliant Spın̈al Tap reference on the back of his bass.
Hey Billy, waiting for ya to do as a Bass clinic for us learners! It's you that got me playing the 4 string man
They are amazing, great musicians but my favorite is Richie Kotzen
I've seen them twice. If you haven't caught their live show, make it a point to do it. You won't be disappointed. They are incredible! Their debut album is off the hook!
Omg that telecaster 🥺🥺🥺🥺 imlovit
I just bought the Fly Rig. Had no idea Richie put his 2 cents in on it.
Glad my brain is on the same track.
An intelligent Bass player..
and I like how he's try to describe things.
Intelligent but a scientologist! Kinda weird and paradox!
Holger Hahn is he?!? fuck....
Compared to you.
Line 6 G50's with rechargeable batteries... Been doing the same thing for years, great minds think alike Billy!
And all his cables are color coded! I think I inadvertently ripped off Billy Sheehan's bass rig for my guitar rig
Anyone know why he has two inputs? one for high and low freq ? there's so much work put into his sound love it
Great vid 👍
20:23 The guy in the background is like, "You better not be giving away your tone secrets!"
Yeah I've been looking to get a Sonic Cell. Cool.
in the immortal words of john henry Bonham, 'I'm just a fucking drummer"
idgaf
What does Billy mean with the mounting of the speaker? I really don't get it? 3:56
please come to las cruces new mexico
Phantom power wah? That's genius! All pedals should be phantom power.
This may be the most complex bass rig ever... great stuff mr. sheehan!
yeah.. and it's 'simple' now. Look up the Talas, Roth, or Mr Big years... yikes!
Anyone know the dimensions on Mikes snare?
Mike forgot about his work with OSI! Tiiiiiny kit on those 2 records he did with em
..belive it or not by BERNINGER !!!! hahahah:))
wow, kirk hammet :D
Rocksolid
bily!
Portnoy seems sad when he is talking about his old, big Dream Theater kits... Seems like he's missing them...
