Again I don't know where you are getting the information from reguarding the death wobble but the little shock absorber that was attached to the inner tie rod is usually the only steering part needed to get rid of the wobble on pretty much every jeep with this steering and suspension setup. It's awesome that you replaced all the front end parts though. I saying all this as a 4wd and steering and suspension specialist who has rebuilt alot of these jeeps front ends over the 20 years I've been working on vehicles. And I can tell you theirs a definite difference in how a death wobble feels and tires being out of balance!!!!!
Great job! It's amazing that you know how to do all of that work. Most impressive. The older vehicles do seem to be more reliable than a lot of vehicles today.
Now that I've finished watching the video i can tell you this about the death wobble, the death wobble is there at low speeds and highway speeds it simply goes from a slow harsh vibration at low speeds to a much faster vibration at highway speeds which will make the entire jeep shake violently to the point you'll absolutely be so scared that you'll pull off the road and get it towed home versus keep going!!!! Nad bad bushings in the panhandle bar which just simply keeps the front diff centered in the front of the jeep and the same for the rear panhandle bar can add a little if the bushings are both slugged out because of being oil soaked and falling outta the bars!!!!! But death wobble are mostly just that steering stabilizing shock attached to the tie rod!!!!
I bought a 95 almost exactly like yours with the same mileage. Drove it for many years, and it was dependable. I took it on several long trips with no problems. My rocker panels rusted out, but when I got rid of it, it ran like a champ.
Great deal even if it needed an engine or transmission. Have fun working on it. They are fairly easy to work on. Your lucky to have a big shop to work in. Lost all of my shop due to divorce 😢 Happy New Year 😊 I am in Quartzsite Arizona LTVA right now camping 🏕.
Just a couple of observations; Thats a great deal for that vehicle in that condition. even if you have to throw another 2k at it. Your audio is wonky when you are in front of the camera verses the back of the camera. I am pretty sure it isn't a very good idea to tell people exactly where you are going to be and when. That rear diff oil has been changed before based on the messy red gasket sealer. I would not recommend using "gasket sealer" or "Gasket maker" in lieu of the actual gasket. The "lifters" are gas struts.
9:00 yo my guy don’t ever do that again 😂 never put metal inbetween gasket and mating surfaces to break any diff covers valve cover gaskets loose bc you’ll destroy the mating surface and cause a permanent leak… Use a mallet an tap the cover and if that doesn’t work at worst use a plastic pry bar
Nice rig! Since you're going to have to drop the tranny pan change the filter too! I had an 01 ram 2500 diesel and my transmission guy John RIP said change fluid every 2 yrs or 24k miles whatever comes first. He said ATF is cheap and keep up on those intervals you'll never really have transmission problems as long as you respect your rig! Lol. Heat is the big killer on those transmissions. Have fun bud!!! 🤙🇺🇲
If you need any help hit me up. I own two of them, the 4.0 and the rare 5.9er. I have torn into multiple parts of the car and also own every manual and service instructions available...

Ok your death wobble is that horizontal shock that is blown out attached to the tie rods on the front steering system! And sense you're taking this or building this jeep into an adventure rig install a set of bfg at ko3 these tires are the stickyest all terrain tires I've ever owned and I've put the ko2's on my last 3 4x4 rigs. Now for the transfer case covers having their gaskets replaced, I don't know where you got the information about not tightening the bolts and waiting 2r hours before tightening them and putting the gear oil in the differentials but that information was wrong!!!!! You can amd should tighten all the bolts as soon as the cover is back on the differentials and you can add the gear oil as soon you've tightened the bolts!!!!!! Imagine how little money actual auto techs like myself would make every week if we all waited 24 hours before tightening the differential bolts then putting the gear oil in the diffs!!!!! Not much at all!!!!

Very great deal for a Jeep that year with a solid body…I’m really looking forward to your rebuild videos on this Jeep!!!
I know right? it's a great find!
Congratulations on your new suv great job
Nice!
Great deal for you. I also thought tires are most likely out of balance. You are handy for sure!
Nice car!😊
Nice build platform! Don't skimp $$ on suspension - especially the track bar
Great deal even if it needed an engine or transmission. Have fun working on it. They are fairly easy to work on.

ZJ HEIM JOINT 3 LINK FRONT STEERING. Highly suggest. Replace the ball joints on front dana axle.
I’ll look into it
@@bgrace27 there are some ebay kits for cheap. Then get some beefer ball joints like rough country. if ur still getting wobble. Id check steering box.

I agree man, keeping it happy is big!
@bgrace27 fo sho bro!!! Here in Oregon that jeep would probably be $6000 minimum so you got a super good deal 👍
@@maingig1 here in Utah as well… that’s why I picked it up when I saw it. It’s a damn good deal
The oil gunk on the steering damper probably came from the engine oil leaking on it from above.
Yessir
HandyBronny❤️
I wanna be this rich and handy one day
Rich? Anyone can afford these things. The problem is people love to live outside their means.
I ain’t rich bro 😂
If you need any help hit me up. I own two of them, the 4.0 and the rare 5.9er. I have torn into multiple parts of the car and also own every manual and service instructions available...
I’ll keep you in mind, thanks bro
After it’s fixed come pick me up we go kick it 😘
When jeep was built right.
Damn the previous owner just drove it no Maint
Dude facts, they did legitimately nothing and I think they started finding problems and panicked and sold
Why not take fred. Seems better suited for wyoming.
I do a ton of snow sports and I cringe at the thought of soaking the wood interior with snow.
How amazing a car wobbles, never heard of it before. It must have been funny yet horrible when it happened
Exactly, fear and laughter in the end
ohh with 5.9 rims. they are rare and valuable!! Get yourself some other rims and spare these 5.9er rims from the snow and salt!
your in trouble !!! Parts will hurt your pockets
It did buuuut now it’s all good…
