- Today I'm en route to a little village by the name of Scothern. Home to around 800 people and 1 as yet unbeaten eating challenge...The Beasty Bottle Bacon Burger (yes, the name is quite preposterous).
One stacked up burger containing five half pound patties, topped with cheese and bacon, accompanied by three and a half pounds of fries and some delicious onion rings. Finish it inside 15 minutes and the £20 meal is on the house! Not to mention a much coveted spot on their wall of fame. Question is; could I be the first to do it?

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

In tonight’s episode, I’m doing battle with a yet to be conquered burger challenge (principally a pile of fries accompanied by a burger lol) in a little village called Scothern at a place called The Bottle & Glass.
I hope you enjoy it. Sadly I won’t be uploading this Sunday as I normally would, since Mrs Beard sprung a little trip away on me for my birthday. So I’m having a few days off, watching the big match on Sunday and I’ll be back with you next Thursday at the usual time.
Over the next few weeks I’ve got some fun stuff coming; a couple of road trips, Sister Beard will be making a comeback also; so I hope you’re looking forward to what’s to come.

I was getting ready to switch to another video and was zoning out when that was said and I jest started laughing at it. The genuine reaction that guy had to beard asking for a dessert menu was jest to funny.

Yeah the burger is a big burger but nothing that your regular big appetite couldn't polish off. It's the chips that are the issue here.

The secret to a light, juicy, melt-in-the-mouth burger is to steam it for 5-7 minutes, then sear it in a dry hot frying pan for 30 secs each side. I love making burgers from scratch, using crushed Twiglets as my dry ingredient instead of breadcrumbs.

Fifteen minutes to complete that meal is what's taking the piss. 99.9% of people are ruled out. A challenge shouldn't be impossible for all but the best competitive eaters.
