I agree with a lot of your points but the 'be grateful' mindset is so toxic, of course other people have it worse but that does not mean that the problems other have should be dismissed because other have it worse. It's better to change your mindset to be "My feelings are valid and I will take steps to improve my situation" not "Who cares that I hate my job, some people are poor." Making people feel bad for feeling bad is not the way to go.
girrrrlll thank you for clocking me on being grateful!! i’ve been dreading work lately and been applying for new job for months and losing hope but you just woke me up!! i am so so grateful to be able to work and make an income, even in a toxic environment. i’m so grateful.
Hi Brianna! I watch this podcast almost every night and as a 13 year old, you’ve brought so much productivity into my life. I’ve felt calmer and definitely more motivated to go to the gym (though i have roadblocks) and make a movement into my life 💝 so thank you for making this wonderful podcast

Hi Bri!!! I’m new to your podcasts and I found it while looking for a good podcast to listen to before bed so I’m not on my phone or watching TV. I am starting a new middle school tomorrow (I’m 13) and I’m trying to become THAT GIRL at this new school, your podcast has inspired me SO much. I really want to thank you for helping me so much.!
I’m a high school (17 yr old) nursing (LPN) student. I have a lot of assignments, and study I need to do. I have two jobs I work both part-time. I attend PT twice a week, recovering from yet again, another surgery. I have some chronic illnesses that makes achieving my goals a bit more of a challenge. I go to sleep very late due to class all day, work into the night, then study and assignments. Trying to incorporate gym more into my routine. As an ex competitive (regional champ) gymnast, they don’t tell you how hard it is when you have to give up your sport. And the mentality it has taken. Is it better to get 4-5 hours of sleep at night some nights, and go to the gym at 6/6:30 am (I drive 30+ min to class one way as well)…. or is it better to skip the gym and get a little more sleep? I went to the gym 6:30 am this morning, it’s 9 am now and I have work soon (it’s sunday) but I feel great for getting it done. But should I prioritize longer sleep over (6.5-7 max) over a potential 4-5 hrs? 🩷
No hate but- one of my jobs cut my hours (as they did with many since holiday season is over) and girl i’d do anything to get more hours anywhere so I can afford what I need to pay. Coming from a 17 yr old working 2 jobs. Always be grateful 🩷
