How can a flight attendant affect a passenger's status with the airline or add miles to their account? Sure they can relocate a passenger to a better class if there's room, but that other stuff doesn't seem accessible by a flight crew...?
Because I’m a travel agent, I used to bring the flight crew bags of Hershey Kisses. Rarely did I even ever get a thank you!! I even attached my cool business card. Again, so many flights where one flight attendant said thanks and the rest no thank you’s or anything.
we have an electronic device in the air that allows us to access a LOT of information including passenger status and manifest to name a couple. There are hundreds of things we can access/communicate both on the ground and in the sky to ensure safety and comfort 🥰
My last overnight flight was… interesting. They woke us all up at 4am to have breakfast. The plane wasn’t landing for another couple of hours but apparently you had no chance of saying no to breakfast (like my previous experiences). I had just fallen asleep and only got about 20min of sleep that flight. Not relevant to the video at all, just wanted to share it haha
Also. If you're on an international flight. Ask your flight attendant if you can have a survey card, Some airlines have them. Sign it, and let the flight attendant fill it out.
Chat up the Gate Agent You might get Bumped up at least to Business 1st! It's all about establishing Relationships Also if you fly a certain run frequently you'll get to know your local Boarding Agents anyway Ask about the kids Soccer Teams Whatever! Find out what their Jam is and slip them a Gift upin Boarding! Remember the Departure city 🏙️ is in control until Pushback pm Points on the Ground equals points in the sir!
