Shaykh Rabī‘ bin Hādī Al-Madkhalī حفظه الله:
“Look for the religious woman. Even if she was from the common folk, that is better than an educated woman who mixes with the opposite gender. By Allah the women from the common folk are better and more clever than the educated ones these days. It is not a must for you to marry an educated woman, upon you is to find a righteous and fearful woman. And if she is educated as well as righteous then thats’s goodness upon goodness, otherwise just marry an ignorant woman who is upon the Fitrah (natural disposition) where you can teach her and she accepts knowledge from you. This is what I have to say, and Allah knows best”
    📚Majmū‘ Al-Fatāwa 2/418

@@taimurahmadit’s good for a woman to be educated. it just depends on how and where she is educated. the mother is the main and first teacher of the progeny so she should not b dumb. it’s best for her to be one who studies and has an education fisabliliah

      @Fulaan7 10 месяцев назад

@@taimurahmad you want an *islamically* educated woman that can teach and nurture your children upon the correct Islam and give them lessons for life. As said in the above comment, the mother is the first school. Being from a village does not necessarily mean you are humble and simple, rather your religious character does.
I think you’re a youth and you need to be quiet regarding this because you lack the experience and knowledge. May Allah increase you in goodness and allow you to only benefit the people when you speak

Subhaana'Allaah Ustadh please kindly talk to us about this matter of self-love. It has seeped into our lives from the internet knowingly or unknowingly. Especially, mothers (homeschooling mothers particularly who have a lot to manage) are sometimes burnt out, and this concept of self love, taking time out for oneself so one can recharge and become able to do better. Please help us understand the Islamic stance on the limits and boundaries of this matter. Jazak Allaahu khair

Every man wants a pious, feminine, obedient, fit wife. That is where tranquility is found, it isn’t found in being boisterous, independent and argumentative.
That is why I aim to marry back home, specifically from a village who is uncorrupted by ideology, who I can impart Deen, who can teach my children the best of Akhlaaq and Adab. Sheikh Uthaymeen recommended us to marry a village girl as they appreciate their men the most.

Well said. Village girls are the best! They may not be the most "beautiful", they may not be wealthy, they may not have a career, they may not have degrees.
But they can be what an average f'em''n'ist "muslimah" is incapable of being : a good wife to you and a good mother to your children!

Allah tests us differently but we live in a day and age where it’s become difficult to get married even though their is an increase in Muslim population, from what I have seen you will find that either he/she
    1. Has good akhlaq but has false aqeedah and is less concerned with correcting that aspect.
    2. Has correct aqeeda but lacks akhlaq and has big ego to self reflect
    3. Soo many Muslims both men and women are self deluded (me, myself and I)
    4. Our parents and imams are afraid of getting involved in selecting a spouse (female side) because of the big gap between how they think and how this new generation behaves.
Some of our parents still use the old methods of “I know the father/mother so his/her son/daughter is like them” wallahi these days are loong gone because tarbiya was left to tv shows, movies, video games, nannies, streets and schools 😏
Sometimes you feel like maybe I should lower the dean and maybe remove akhlaq or maybe ignore the aqeedah as long as they pray and throw yourself under the bus with Tawaqul but then that would be testing Allah, a’udhubillah.
wallahi western influence (social media) has affected sooo many of us with ignorance and big ego.
Such a big population of Muslims but you straggle to find one who is humble and fears Allah within themselves
Paraphrase Hadith; be patient, for no time will come except that it will be followed by one that is worse..
May Allah make it easy for us all, ameen

The worst part is that since the halal marriage has become so hard, the haram has become so easy. And the youth, many of them are resorting to haram means of fulfilling their desires.
It is unrealistic to seek the perfect person since noone is perfect. We might have to compromise a little when looking for a spouse....

Beauty matters and also the deen. How to reconcile? some scholars say that, you should look for her beauty in the first place. Why? if she's beautiful, then you ask her about deen. if she isn't religious, you don't marry her. That way, you're leaving her because of the deen. But, if you knew she's religious but then found out she's not beautiful and you dont marry her. this way, you're giving importance to looks more than the deen. Hope that helps.

@@taimurahmadthe intelligent scholars note how the Rasool ONLY married previously married women except the 1, that he saw in revelation, Aisha, who time showed was with reason. Our beloved Prophets other wives were previously married and had kids. It was recommended to marry fertile and loving women. And as Shaykh Uthaymeen broke down the proof of fertility doesn't lie in the virgin but the non virgin that has had a kid. 😂😂 Alhamdullilah not all men are this slow.... speaks volumes about your manhood. Not a woman's virtue. 😂

Assalma waleikoum no it is not. The prophet (sws) explicitly said to young mens to marry virgins women. Nothing wrong with marriying a divoced or widow but this is not the sunnah.
