I talked to Eric (AKA Mr disneyfanman) today on the phone. 6/16/2020. He is alive and well. He has had some health struggles that make it difficult for him to get around, which led to him becoming a little depressed. So he has stayed away from youtube. He would love to go back to Disneyland, but he's not sure that will ever happen. I let him know there were a lot of his youtube family that were very concerned because they hadn't heard from him in such a long time. He seemed like he genuinely appreciated that. We talked for about 5 minutes and he was very kind and welcoming just like in his videos. I let him know that his youtube family is pulling for him and always thinking of him. It brightened my day finding out he was ok, and I think I brightened his day by letting him know so many people were thinking about him. He has touched a lot of people through youtube. Thanks Mr disneyfanman!
Please tell him I’ve been watching his channel since 2011, as a huge Disneyland history fan. From 2014-2017 I worked as “friends” with princess Ariel & princess Anna and while often meeting annual pass holders I so wished I’d meet him. It’s really too bad I never got to meet him during my time there, but the appreciation for his channel and historic footage will always be there 🙏🏻✨ I’m so grateful !
