PSA for everyone : Bosses spawn in order per their triumph entries so just do the Overthrow 3 times in a row and they drop their mote on their corpse not on the chest if you miss it you wont get it in the postmaster ... Edit - if you miss a mote from a boss dont worry once you complete the cycle of the bosses the next one to spawn will be the one you are missing.
thats not true I spent 8 hours farming one area without leaving and the wizard never spawned in the landing. The pick up part was true just the boss spawning in rotation is not.
@@vipersushi1849 for me i missed the second boss mote in both the impasse and the blooming , after i completed their cycle the next boss to spawn in both areas was the one i was missing , for context i did the overthrow in free roam solo not from the matchmaking but in every area they always spawned in order of their triumph entries.
On point as always DPJ. Just a quick one though. Sever and searing light glitch out sometimes, because they’re in the same location. So if you do one, and the bit isn’t there, you have to wait until daily reset and go do both as it can appear on either. Happened to me and quite a few other people.
I wish there was a chart that would show me the bosses i got the light mote from. That way, I would know which area I'd need to go to and kill the boss that still owes me a mote

Bungie wrote on June 7th 2024 the following on X- “To address issues obtaining the Khvostov 7G-OX exotic, we have removed the Taken Servitor boss from The Blooming's Overthrow rotation. A fix to address players currently blocked from obtaining Khvostov will be deployed in a future update.”
You would think this would be something they would test or have a backup plan in place. Just give everyone 1 mote in place of this boss. That's literally all I need.
I'm having the issue where I have to get the mote in the Slayer Cyst, it doesn't show on my map, I already have the legendary version of the weapon, done all the cyst etc. but the one that shows up for me in that area is just the Searing Light, how do I progress from here hmm ? (EDIT: NVM, You have to activate the Cryst before going in to the area from the bird outside just before entering)

i got a major problem i did so many alone in the darks. i only have one encryption to get and I did the smothering darkness 3 times and it does not show. i defeated all overthrow bosses. in my truimphs it says I am only missing smothering darkness and no matter what the rubble does not show up. i am lost and about to give up. i asked the bungie help forum and a mentor has yet to respond.
Guys my friend has the problem that he has all the chests and all cysts open, but if we engage again, there is no slavage for the crptic keys. Do you think even if he already did the cysts regularly, he has to find the ghost again and fill him up for the salvage drop for they keys to spawn?

Screw that. That is WAYYYY too much work for one gun that I'll probably never even use. I've already wasted enough time on the in the dark missions. No way am I redoing them for these stupid hidden bits, and then hunting down a bunch of other crap afterwards.

Nope. They stop spawning motes at 16 and won't let you get another.

You might be able to reset the bosses with the pathfinder. Still testing
When you reset the pathfinder, it resets the objectives/bosses on the map.

Aerial aces glitched for me the lava won’t disappear so you can’t get the key. I’ve ran it 10 times so far.

The meatball servitor boss is out of the game at the moment so your stuck until they put him back in I'm stuck here as well

Try going to the tower and checking the quest terminal left of the postmaster could be there under abandoned quests
