Decided to start watching these games after the last one. I'm really impressed coach. That team seemed alot taller and ya'll held your own! Your defense is honestly really good, there were very few clean kills without someone going for it. So proud of them!
I still don't get why teams even after losing a point just touch each other like they won a point it looks very unhygienic I know after getting a tough win (not a point) it okay to maake a circle and be happy but doing it every rally seems so uncomfortable and ewww
Bro what are you saying, it's called keeping up the team spirit. When they lose a point, they're not huddling to celebrate, it's just a way of saying "It''s alright, let's keep it up." Also what do you mean "unhygienic"? It's a sport. Are they supposed to put hand sanitizer on their hands after every time they touch the ball or something? If you're that grossed out, make sure you avoid watching wrestling, or any sport actually.
Volleyball is a team sport even more so than other sports. In contrast to, say, soccer you practically still have to do three touches even if you have a star player amongst your mates. No one man show here. Chemistry and team spirit are pretty important. If your team scored a point, it’s to increase momentum and compliment each other. »Great move, guys, sweet point! Let’s keep it up!« If you lost a point, it’s to keep up morale and convince yourself and the team you can make a comeback. »No big deal, we’ll get the next one. C’mon, guys, we can do this!«
It's all about the chemistry. Lets say the team doesn't do anything after losing a point, now they're all down on confidence and the will to get the next point. Since they come together after any stoppage in play means they stay connected and in good spirit. This happens with almost all sports but volleyball especially. I don't get why you put ewww at the end like keeping spirits up is gross or something.
2 main reasons: Mental reset and you can announce the next set ( if it's a on A/B-pass). Personally, I played with a guy that could predict the future 😂 I'm not saying he was always right but often enough to be a prophet 😂
