    3:32 he is correct, the governing bodies need to be held accountable for allowing this.because on the school's end, theu will have to deal with identity politics, protests, etc while the governing bodies push these things in the background without having to bare any backlash from the public. You don’t know what was going on, on the inside. The locker room, the gym, on campus and in the dorms hold a lot of internal activity for a collegiate team. They were all told not to say anything by the coach and it’s a team sport so no matter how good one player is, they still need to mesh well with their teammates and if they don’t then you’ll have bad chemistry which could result in L’s, arguments, ending of friendships, fights etc. idk if you’ve played a team sport but there’s a out of outliers that go into a season.

    One of the best hockey players I knew growing up was a girl, she could straight up out-think everybody else, she was playing 3D chess while everyone else was playing solitaire. Her skills were good as well but she was like Gretzky out there with her vision. She dominated 12U.
    As soon as us boys hit puberty, she couldn't compete anymore. No amount of outsmarting us could work when we were bigger, faster and much much stronger. It's a shame all variables being equal she has the skill, talent and IQ to have played pro hockey somewhere had she kept developing.
    That's also why I love the PWHL and hope this doesn't spread there.

      THIS! Thank you! I outcompeted almost all the males up until mid junior high, even the most athletic of them. After puberty though, while I could still practice and kind of hold my own in some regards, there was NO WAY I could compete day in and day out with them. I then became a welder. I was often the only female on most of the jobs I did because I could figure out ways to do my job if I couldn’t muscle it myself…OR I had to occasionally ask for help. To try to pretend I’m the same physically as an average man is ludicrous. Seems to me the only people trying to push the opposite as true have never competed at any real level nor do they work a physical job alongside men everyday. Basically…they’re highly ignorant on the subject.

    The scholarship issue being mentioned at the end is very telling. Less than 50 out of 500,000 are not taking away scholarships from anyone, if you didn't get the scholarship you wanted, I’m sorry your goal was not met, that sucks, but you didn't get chosen because you didn't rise high enough to the top in comparison to everyone else - and that's okay. These types of people strike me as having been raised in a strict perfectionist household where an A- is a failing grade while being a child of average intelligence. It is okay. You don't have to hit every single goal on the dot. You don't have to go to the college of your parent's dreams, you don't even have to go to college at all, it is good to have goals but if you don't reach all of them the way you expected that is okay - and it is nobody fault, not yours or anyone else’s, it is just the way things played out. It doesn't mean that your future was stolen from you, it just means it's not what you expected, you still have one and if you play your cards right it can be more fulfilling than you ever thought possible. Most people are average at what they do, that's why it's the average, there is no moral assignment to being just like everyone else. I was raised in a strict perfectionist household too, with heavy emphasis on academics. I didn't get the scholarship I wanted, either. It's okay, nobody took anything away that I truly deserved, I just wasn't the best. We don't all have to be, we can't all be the best, I’m still happy regardless.

    For all this saying it’s not fair then how has SDSU lost games this year? If it’s so unfair shouldn’t they be undefeated? If it’s so harmful shouldn’t more people on other team be getting hurt?
    Also she feels comfortable with her teammates who is transgender, living with her and other women, but she draws the line at playing sports?
    People say this is maddening but it’s a niche complex issue on a sport to sport basis. I didn’t see SJSU in the national championship game so it must not really have been a competitive advantage

    • @Godsbackhand7
      @Godsbackhand7 4 дня назад

      The trans athlete has been shown to be non-impactful at winning this team games. Despite the claims of safety, this team was regularly getting absolutely blown out.
      While this is a niche issue and to my knowledge there may only be a few trans athletes in volleyball, the more they bring attention to this, the more likely that title 9 gets repealed and schools no longer have to offer women’s sports that don’t make money…which would include volleyball, amongst most other women’s sports. The people cheering for “girls safety” are about to watch girls sports get completely wiped out at the collegiate level.

    🤔 ~ Regardless of what you believe, the woman being interviewed sounds deceptive to me. Who knows if they were really friends, or just were friendly when around each other. But if you say it’s all about safety, then why practice against men? Obviously the men can turn it down when practicing against a woman’s team, but still. And also why claim about all the bruises she gets, when that’s common when there’s no trans person on this team? So it just sounds a little iffy to me.

    • @Godsbackhand7
      @Godsbackhand7 4 дня назад

      It isn’t a challenging conversation. There is a significant difference between a trans athlete who must adhere to NCAA regulations and someone on your random roller derby team. Hormone blockers are extensive and must reduce levels to half of the average woman, which results in the trans athlete having the same physical capabilities as a non-athletic and non-trained biological female. THAT is the difference.
