Nice!
@ccskatepark yea man it does i have another question hopefully you can answer when you watch a vid of some dj using real vinyl how do they get all those sound on the vinyl do they have them custom made

Awesome tutorial! Haha I can hear the camera man laughing! 5:46
nice video,i want to know what the audio did he use in scratch sample????
@DubSpot whats is a dvs.. dont mind me im just starting to learn this stuff
which software do you use? i use Traktor Scratch Pro with my Numark Mixtrack Pro.. Can thid be done on this config? tnx
Is this scratch done just on 70 and 140 bpm ranges. I'm having trouble doing it with 90 bpm tempos.
what i don't understand : why close fader after the first mouvement, because sound is in his 0 point then it's like the fader is closed? when i do it slowly sound is the same if i don't close my fader first time.but maybe for the speedy mouvement it's important?
hahah sick! thats pretty dope
Shiftee, you inspired me to buy my first turntables! What is the record on your right deck that you play at the end?
Thanks dude
is there anyway i can take the music out of something and just have the vocals?
K grande Dj Shiftee !
Ahahaha! Awesome tutorial. Loved it and really useful lesson :D YAY
advanced salsaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
shiftee makes me laugh and is a beast on the wheels
how do you make that type of sound with a scratch
@drvenhrd46
Yes, and he won the DMC battle for world supremacy in 2007 and the DMC world championship in 2009. Those are separate events, but i'm not exactly sure how they differ
Shiftee, you will always be "Dabest"
can somebody please identify the beat at the end demo !! it's so damn good its driving me mad!!!
dj shiftee is they best dj in they world
@Wangerine shiftee is a world DMC champ and teaches djing at NY university, I'd take his word for it.
whats the beat he use?
thanks guys!
@isgod1 I find 110 bpm to be the most challenging for fast scratches, but thats just me
2:20 what is that sound? i hear it a lot in scratching
AHHH, Salsa!
@DJMakeWay Thats true...^^
AHHHHHHHHH SALLSIA. brilliant ;)
It's similar to the first half of the boomerang
dis guy got da cleanest scrathes....did he ever compete in the dmc??
i love that nicknack wax
this guy is a regular comedian...lol sick dj tambien
i had to eat chips n salsa while watching this
@wolfgang15425 ...DVS is emulating a record (vinyl) using turntable driven software. (Digital Vinyl System) Don't know why they didn't bother answering. If you can't use the lingo you get snubbed by the pros (kind of a turnoff to learning isn't it)
right!!!!!!!!
why swing flare?, there 's no flaring?
kkkkkk smiles thx info DJ !!!
almost there Shiftee - its tough to duplicate when your going fast.. all in due time im sure.
@MasterRecordNando yeah thats the same thing i want xD

still using the same old scratch samples.
scratching is like a guitar solo because only other scratchers care.
