First of all - I've been REALLY impressed with the Quinn pliers! I have the linesman, dikes and needlenose and they're fantastic and very affordable! Next - instead of returning the socket organizing pegs, you just need to buy a brand new, US General 42 in tool cabinet. The top drawer will accommodate those pegs VERY well and makes it so handy to have them. Just an FYI, I think they're going back on sale next week or the week after. I saw an early release flyer and the 42 is normally like $600 but it'll be onsale for like 530 or something like that. I just picked one up a few weeks ago and it's amazing!! VERY high quality and the orange is gorgeous!! Finally you're going to have to do another vid in a few months, maybe July 4th time period, and let us know how the tools have been holding up for you. I see a lot of people making vids like yours but very few with the follow up after heavy use.
I just bought the 428 pcs Quinn tool set with the Quinn 3/8 impact set and Quinn 1/2 impact set along with the 4 pc pliers and the large bit set. I also ordered the US General 42 in tool bottom and top set along with the socket organizing peg sets.
@@southerngent716 - Very cool man!! I've been using my 42 in box for 2+ months now and the socket pegs and I love the whole set up. It's so natural and easy for my workflow and really helps with the mechanical work I've been doing. Not having to dig through an old tool box for a socket then looking for the next largest or smallest cuz that one wasn't correct is a thing of the past and it makes the whole process much more enjoyable. I honestly can't believe I waited so long to invest in a tool cabinet.
I bought this kit a few weeks ago on a whim. I wanted to look up some reviews to see what people thought about it. I have just about all the tools I'll ever need already but I condensed all that into one mobile toolbox so I can grab it and go and took all of these new Quinn tools in filled up my toolbox. I still have some giant sockets and other tools in my toolbox that I use specifically on my tractor and the Quinn set did not come with those sizes but this is pretty much a complete set that will get anyone going. If you think of the basic cost of one vehicle repair, this set is a no-brainer. I will either get this set or a set like it when my daughter turns 16 and let it be her own. When she goes off to college in a handful of years, she will have everything she needs to work on her own vehicle and anything else she needs. This is a fantastic set for a DIY person let myself.
Great video and new subscriber. My Son and I are in your same age group and It's nice to see another Father & Son that actually work/build/fix things together. I feel like 99% of this new "Gen Alpha" won't want to turn a wrench or don't have any interest in how things work or how to fix them. Your a good role model for him and keep it up, these kids will be running this planet soon and they need to know how keep it going.
Yikes, I agree! That would probably be 4 or 5 times more and for as little as I will need these tools I think this kit will do me just fine! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
@@3SeasRecreation my brother was surprise when I showed him this video! He’s a mechanic and he’s been in the field since out of high school, he said the amount of tools you showed in this video compare to high end brand tools. I’ll be spending at least close to 5grand alone or more. While this Quinn master tool set is a bang for your buck any day!
HF does not sell Quinn box end wrenches. They have the ratcheting wrenches but not the box end. Does the kit set of box end wrench compare better to the Pittsburgh Pro to the ICON?
Thanks for checking out the video! Yea this came with quite a few options and most likely won't use the SAE much... Good to have tho! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Very nice! Quick question off topic. It's time for me to replace the stock tires on my 2021 Xtrainer and I wanted to see what you recommend? There aren't a ton of choices in the 140/80-18
Good Morning! Normally, we end up replacing that 140 with a 120 wide tire. Not everyone wants to keep something that wide on their bike. But as far as actual tire choice that is totally up to you and your riding style and also where you ride. Talk to some locals and see what their preferences are. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Cool. That was mainly the info I was looking for about switching to a different size for more options. Sounds like that's a better option. Thanks much!!@@3SeasRecreation
horrible unboxing video. no good shots of the tools. rediculous explanations of tools, etc. would have been a better video of just a panaramoc overhead shot of the tools laid out and a pic of the box contents. actually would have been better with no commentary.
My suggestion is to get a camera and make a video yourself, you sound like a pro at it! What kept you watching if it was so bad? lol Hope your day gets better!

Your presentation was awesome. On my way to buy one right now
Why not put the stand up sockets on the top. There’s plenty of room there in your box. That’s where I put sockets in that style box
Now imagine going into a tool truck. To get the same amount.
