I really hope you see this!! Ive literally woken up TWICE with horrible pain in my eye and BOTH times, somehow I had scratched my cornea in my sleep! It sounds like pour little Hazel has a scratched cornea and I can attest to just how painful it is!! The good news is, the eye Dr just put in a temporary nonprescription contact to work as a bandaid and it gave me INSTANT relief!! I couldn’t even feel the contact and I don’t normally wear contacts! After about 3-5 days, it had healed and I was perfectly fine! I pray this message helps and I pray Hazel feels better soon!! Also EVERYONE should have a Wilder in their life!! He’s truly the kindest most loving human!!❤🙏🏼

Wilder is the sweetest older brother i think any sibling could ever ask for. He was so kind and caring and tried to comfort Hazel in any way he could, this just melted my heart. Wilder is going to be amazing with his new baby brother or sister. He is so calm and has a heart of gold and it's also because he has Zoe and Garrick as his parents. Wishing Hazel's eye better it must of been really upsetting for her 😊❤

Yikes, hopefully Hazel is okay. I once got a cut on the back of my eyeball and it was so painful when I opened my eye. I went to the hospital and had to wear an eyepatch for 2 weeks. They also gave me eye drops or a cream to apply onto the patch, I don’t remember. I was like 10

I wear contact lenses & catch eye infections when gardening or around too much dust & debris. Needed antibiotuc drops, it was very painful & sensitive to light. Maybe she scratched eye while removing lash. Hope baby girl feels better soon & bless Grandma, she is so sweet!!!

Former Optometric Assistant here (13yrs). Hopefully you took her to the eye doc for antibiotics and numbing drops. A scratched cornea is very painful and needs to be seen by a doctor…
I was thinking the same thing. I too am an optometric technician and it sounds like a corneal abrasion to me. The docs always prescribed an antibiotic drop for those situations.
What causes this? I'm just curious because every so often I get severe sensitivity in my eye but also I have a red spot that's been there for years...
@@stephaniecason Is there a way I could send you a picture of my red spot to see what you thought? Mine is random and doesn't hurt on the daily but randomly around smoke-casinos or animals it flares up...any idea why?

I scratched my cornea and it was so painful if she has red/ purple veins all around her eye ball just take some clear blue eye drops that should get rid of the bacteria
that might be in her eye but if it starts to burn put a ice pack on her eye then put eye cream around her eye to make sure that the skin around her eye won’t hurt!! Love you guys so much praying for you guys every day ❤️

Goats milk does get tangy as it gets older so you'll notice if you have any for a few days before it gets used, but when it's fresh it's so good!

If you have a broody chicken see if you can find someone who has fertilised eggs and will give you some,otherwise she will sit on those unfertilised eggs and will not eat or drink much,we had that problem with one of our chickens and had to outsource some fertilised eggs for her

I've had a very similar experience after getting out what I thought was 1 eyelash in my eye. The pain I felt afterwards was like nothing I'd experienced. It really was that bad. The pain continued for about 12 hours.. and then disappeared as quickly as it had come. I didn't actually seek medical support... but the one thing I recall bringing me huge (temporary) relief was standard eyedrops.. that I happen to store in my fridge. The cold sensation really, really helped. I just hope that beautiful Hazel is feeling much better. Btw, you are the most awesome Family.. and I'm just so happy for you and your beautiful Mum x 🥰

I live in Australia and we have these little cups called Eye Baths. You put saline or even contact lens solution in it and cover the affected eye. While covered open and close the eye a few times and it will get any debris out of the eye so hopefully won't cause the eye itself the get scratched. Poor little Hazel I'm praying for her. And having such an AMAZINGLY AWESOME BIG BROTHER comforting her just warms my heart so much. Wilder and Venture are just so WONDERFUL too. I have had a scratched eye twice and it feels like sand rolling around in there. Poor baby. It will heal, but they do have antibiotic eye drops that do help. Hope she heals soon.

Oh no!!! Corneal abrasions are the worst!!! I slept in my hard contactswhen I was in college and it was the worst!!! Also close the blinds cuz light hurts sooo bad❤
Also I've had a corneal abrasion when my toddler poked my eyeball and had to go to the ER for numbing drops and antibiotic drops. Really helped the pain

Happened to me. Thought it was sand from the beach. Ended up having tiny holes in my cornea. I ended up being diagnosed with a painful eye disease, ABMD. We will pray she has nothing close to that!
Yes i wait 5 days and feed it to the kids till 2 weeks. This helps to up her milk supply. Then at 2 weeks we kid share. Kids go up at 8pm milk out at 8 am. Make sure your massaging the udder and getting all the milk out a squirt left is a squirt less the next day.. we wean kids at 12 weeks then milk twicw a day.

It sounds like she may of scratched the inside of her eye i had that happen to me and it hurt bad, keep the patch on it and you may have to take her to a eye doctor to get her some eye drops.
I just watched on another channel that when the chicken won't get off the eggs like that, it is called brooding and they could actually die because they won't get up to eat or drink. She found a way to snap them out of it by dunking their belly in cold water for a few seconds. She said she did it twice and it works. It is something to do with changing the temp regulation on their bellies. I would look into it if she continues.

Eyedrops 3 times a day can help soothe/moisturize the eye and keep it clean it.
And also a warm, damp cloth will help.
If you put the drops in the fridge it helps immensely!! This was advice from my eye doctor

Tylenol for pain! My eyelashes use to get stuck in my eye all the time as a kid! My mom use to have to prey my eye open and it was so painful and horrible!! It took a long time for me to outgrow that. Idk how that happens! It’s crazy. I hope she’s doing much better now!

You probably won't see this comment, but for anyone milking goats the milk tastes much better if you put a frozen water bottle in your milk pail and milk onto that so it instantly cools.
My 3yo scratched her eye over a year ago now, she couldnt open her eye so i took her to the hospital (couldnt get in to see family dr) and they sent us to an eye dr (sorry dont know the proper name lol) and they seen her gave an antibiotic eye cream. We had to go back for a check up and she was all healed up thankfully!!

This happened to my 3 year old last summer, his cousins and him were jumping on a trampoline and it had some leaves and such on it. Something scratched his eye and whenever we got home he wouldn’t open his eyes or anything for several days but his doctor gave us some prescription eye drops. I think they had steroids or something in them to help it heal faster and he was good as new in about 3 days

When I was about 7:00 I got stung in the side of my eye by a bee and my eye closed shut so maybe she got stung by a bee and that might be why
Corneal abrasions are not fun !!!! I worked for 9 years for an Ophthalmologist. Usually, an abrasion will heal or close within 3 days. You want her to refrain from rubbing it and cool compresses may help also. I'm not sure if they would put a "bandage" on a child's eye. An abrasion can reoccur as well if dust or anything foreign gets in the eye. Just keep a eye on it . . No pun intended . . LOL

Yes! I had an eyelash stuck in my eye and in the process of trying to get it out, I scratched it and got inflammation and it hurt so bad even as a 33 year old 😮
I went to the eye doctor and they gave me eye drops for the inflammation
The whole time I thought something else was still in there
It was just a scratch on my eye and irritation. It went away in 2 days
