Though Vijay Sethupathi didn't win Filmfare Award for Shilpa's character but he won the National Award which is much better than Filmfare. Yes Orange Mittai and Seethakathi are Vijay Sethupathi's most underrated films which deserve more recognition. Though Vijay Sethupathi's role in Seethakathi was only for 40 minutes but the story of the movie is so phenomenal that it reminded me of Satyajit Ray's style of filmmaking. While watching Seethakathi I felt like I am watching Sathyajit's movie where every actor did their part so brilliantly and the movie's premise was so intellectually artistic and very brilliantly emotes the passion of actor and his love for acting irrespective of the fact wheather he is perfoming in high budget movies or in very small school play. The movie shows that how an actor's love for acting never Dies!!

That was my first ever movie of makkal Selvan and I was so touched that I watched his movies back to back. I watched almost 9 to 10 of his movies in span of 3 days. I am huge fan of his work. Vijay did absolutely fantastic and on par with that naunce and subtlety.
